Mangrove paradise
Mangroves are a unique environment, like a type of botanical amphibian - with one foot on land and the other in the sea. These mangroves, which border the islands of the archipelago off Indonesia, are an endangered habitat, threatened by land development and shrimp fishing. But they are vital habitats that support a wealth of wildlife, from crabs and snakes to oysters and birds.
