St David: Seven Reasons to Be Joyful 5: Community

The fifth in our series marking 900 years since St David was recognised as the patron saint of Wales, the service is led from Glastonbury by the Revd Delyth Liddell. This week, we look at the importance of community in what is perhaps one of the most spiritually diverse places in the British Isles.
St David was reputed not only to have visited the place - it is also claimed that he founded the church here, and played his part in establishing the monastic community whose legacy can be seen in the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey and in the town today.
Delyth speaks to some members of the town, and to Revd Tina Swire, Superintendent of the Somerset Mendip Circuit, whose duties include addressing the crowds attending the Glastonbury Festival!
