As the NHS celebrates 70 years, comedian Mark Thomas turns his attention to the much-loved institution.

The Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad are joined by the comedian Mark Thomas who is about to head off on a national tour with his new show all about the NHS. Mark says that with the NHS in apparent perpetual crisis, he wants to find out what's going wrong, how it can go right and what the future might hold for all of us.

Award winning comedian and journalist Mark Thomas is about to tour with his latest show  celebrating 70 years of the NHS.  Mark is the son of a an ex lay preacher with a sister who is an Anglican priest,  and after thirty three years in the theatrical spotlight, he remains one of country’s most popular comedians and satirists.
