Colum Arbuckle shares stories and experiences of life in the third age.
Colum Arbuckle shares stories and experiences of life in the third age. His studio guests this week are Zita Gibson and Jan Carson. Zita's life story reads like an epic novel - she grew up believing her grandmother was her mother and that her actual mother was her sister. Jan Carson is a writer of novels and is actively involved with outreach programmes for older people. Plus veteran folk musician Tom Sweeney brings his love of children's songs to local schools, the Knitters and Natterers of Downpatrick have Colum in stitches, and how hens can alleviate the symptoms of loneliness and isolation.
