Colum Arbuckle shares the life stories, experiences and ambitions of older people in Northern Ireland. His guests this week are Eleanor Johnston and Margaret Kerr.
Colum Arbuckle presents stories of life in the third age. His guests this week are Eleanor Johnston and Margaret Kerr. Next week is Dementia Awareness week, and both Eleanor and Margaret share their experiences of looking after loved ones. But there is a lot more to their stories - Margaret has jumped out of an aeroplane not once, but twice, and Eleanor has romantic tales of meeting her childhood sweetheart over a fish supper in the local chippy. Plus, there is live music from Paul Kane, Colum tries his hand (and feet) at old time dancing and we travel back 20 years to the day when world chess champion Gary Kasparov took on a computer named Deep Blue.
