With feats of stamina and skill, the Paralympics keep on revealing extraordinary gifts, and challenging long-held perceptions of people with disabilities.听 听But how far has this moved beyond sport?听听 What is the reality for people who鈥檒l never be competing, let alone expecting medals?

On this week鈥檚 All Things Considered Roy Jenkins and guests are not looking at the Paralympics, but at how people with disabilities are regarded more generally.听 As problems requiring solutions?听 Or as persons with qualities which the rest of society needs?听 听And how should religious faith shape and inform our thinking in all this?听 听
