Russell Davies interview A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell is in conversation with guitarist Hank Marvin.
Hank is best known for his work with the musical group The Shadows, who started out as Cliff Richard's backing band in 1958 on the No. 2 hit single "Move It". Alongside huge success with The Shadows, performing at the Eurovision Song Contest, Hank Marvin also formed the group Marvin, Welch and Farrar and pursued a solo career over the last fifty years in the music business, inspiring the likes of Mark Knopfler and David Bowie along the way.
He speaks to Russell about his art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by his career.
