Guitar Stories: Hank Marvin
Hank Marvin is synonymous with the Fender Stratocaster, but his first stringed instrument was a banjo, followed by a Hofner Congress when he was 16. It wasn’t until the spring of 1959 that Cliff Richard bought him his first Fender. Here, Hank explains how its tremolo arm helped define his trademark sound.
