Young Farmer of the Year
Four young farmers battle it out in front of friends, family and judges. Sheep shearing, pig judging, hoof trimming and separating cows from their calves are among the challenges.
The show that celebrates the best in British tradesmanship continues. Forget urban skills, this time it's four young farmers battling it out to walk off with the title. Sheep shearing, pig judging, hoof trimming and separating cows from their calves, the finalists have their work cut out in the emotional and physical challenges that are thrown up.
Judging them are Dave Finkle, manager of world famous Jimmy's Farm, and shepherd Gareth Wyn Jones, whose own farm in Snowdonia has been in the family for more than 300 years. It's the most gruelling episode of the series, and there can be only one winner of the title of Young Farmer of the Year.
