Four young carpenters at the top of their trade compete to see who can cut it at the highest level, judged by carpenter to the stars, Jai Godwin, and wood lover Phill Williams.

The show that celebrates the best in British tradesmanship continues by finding out which of four young carpenters at the top of their trade can cut it at the highest level. From creating a floating duck house to fitting a complete functioning kitchen in just three hours, it tests the finalists' creative and technical skills in a high-pressure environment. But can they cope?

Judging them are the 'go to' carpenter for A-list celebrities, Jai Godwin, and internationally-renowned lover of wood, Phill Williams. Each finalist is forced outside their comfort zones and, as always, only one will succed and be crowned Young Carpenter of the Year.
