Winners' Stories

A look at how life has changed for some previous winners, including 2010 hairdressing champion Becky Hunt, 2009's winning chef Dougie McMaster and Young Plumber, Aimee Patterson.

As we prepare to close the hangar doors for another series, five more exceptional grafters have fought off all rivals and joined the elite ranks of Young Talent winners. But, as they look to a bright new future, we shift our focus to the winners of the past. How has life changed for them since raising the trophy?

As we head out on to the road, our previous champions come face to face with the judges they once fought to impress, including Becky Hunt, 2010's hairdressing champion, as she prepares to take on a new role representing her whole industry at home and abroad.

Young Fishmonger and local Warrington hero Andy Leicester shares the challenges of coping with success, while 2009's winning chef Dougie McMaster gets a life lesson from superstar chef Tom Aikens. Aimee Patterson, who fought off the fellas to win the Young Plumber final, finishes the line-up, revisiting the studio where we also see what presenter George Lamb gets up to when he thinks the cameras are not rolling.
