Day Two of the Radio 2 Breakfast Show's 500 WORDS launch week.

After the inaugural book-busting spectacular last year, our short story competition for anyone aged 13 or under is BACK!

Today we are speaking to the second of our expert judges CHARLIE HIGSON, writer of the phenomenally successful Young Bond series, which has now sold over a million copies in the UK and been translated into over 24 different languages.

A video of Charlie's top tips for clever and creative writing is available on the Radio 2 website.

The writers of the Top 50 stories will be invited to watch the Chris Evans Breakfast Show broadcasting LIVE from the Hay Festival of Literature and the Arts on Friday 1st June 2012.

So if you have lots of ideas and just love writing stories then why not enter now?

And if you're a teacher, don't fear - 'Your Breakfast Show (Also) Needs You!' We want you to help us judge the initial stages of these amazing tales. Last year nearly 4000 of you volunteered to help us out, we couldn't have done it without you!
