Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios Production Limited (‘Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios’) has been commissioned by the Royal Household to run the Platinum Party at the Palace Event (‘the Event’). Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios is a data controller of the personal data you provide in connection with this Event. Ticketmaster is contracted by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios to provide Ticketing and Event Management services at the event and will be acting as an independent data controller of your personal data (see further under ‘Purposes for which Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios will use your data’ below).
The data you provide may also be shared with other parties involved in the Event, as detailed under ‘Who will my data be shared with” below.
Data we will process
To enter the ballot, you provided the following personal data:
• Full name
• Current home address
• Date of Birth
• Place of birth
• Email address
• Contact phone number
• Name of the guest you will bring
• Guest home address
• Guest date of Birth
• Accessibility needs if applicable
To claim your tickets you will be required to create an account with Ticketmaster and will be asked to provide data subject to Ticketmaster’s and
How we will use your data:
Ticket winners will be contacted by email with instructions on how to claim your ticket, in line with the requirements set out on in the ballot rules found here. You will also be asked to create an account with Ticketmaster, if you don’t have one already. This is to enable Ticketmaster to issue you with the electronic tickets. At this point, Ticketmaster will become a data controller in their own right of the personal data they collect and hold on you. When redeeming a ticket and creating an account, Ticketmaster will process your personal details in accordance with their and .
Please note that when you create your account with Ticketmaster you will be given the opportunity to opt-out of any Ticketmaster marketing.
You will also be given further instructions about ID documentation you will need to provide on the day of the Platinum Jubilee Concert but copies of your identity documents will not be retained, recorded or otherwise processed by either Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios or Ticketmaster.
What are the purposes for processing your personal data and our lawful basis
The lawful basis both Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios and Ticketmaster relies on to process your personal data is its legitimate interests as a media organisation to produce and organise the Event.
The data we hold will be used by us and Ticketmaster to:
• Contact you to advise you have won tickets for the event
• Issue you with your tickets via our approved agent Ticketmaster
• Contact you about any accessibility needs, if applicable and to ask you to submit supporting documentation for PA/Companion requests
• Carry out security checks (see further ‘Who will my data be shared with’ below)
• Cross-check you against the identity documents you will be required to present in order to gain access to the event
• Contact you with information about the event
Who will my data be shared with:
• Ticketmaster who has been contracted by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios to provide Ticketing and Event Management services at the event. In order to claim your ticket you will be required to create an account via Ticketmaster’s website and at this point Ticketmaster will be a separate controller of your personal data.
• Security companies and event organisers to ensure the safe and smooth running of the event.
• The wider safety group involved in running this event (which includes the DCMS, Westminster Council and the Metropolitan Police) as required, and for the purposes of accreditation and other security checks.
Retaining your data
Appropriate safeguards have been put in place to ensure the security of the data you provide within this ballot.
Your data will only be held for as long as is necessary to ensure full, proper and appropriate administration of the event. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios expects to delete all successful applicant and guest data within three months of the date of the event, except as required to deal with any legal or law enforcement request. If you do not claim your tickets your personal data will be deleted within three months of the ballot closing.
If you claim your tickets and create an account with Ticketmaster they will retain your data in line with their own Privacy Policy.
Your Rights

• Assess you for eligibility against the ballot rules, which can be found here.
• Contact you if you’re successful in winning a ticket for the event
• Issue you with your tickets via our approved ticket agents
• Contact you about any accessibility needs, if applicable
• Carry out security checks (see further below)
• Cross-check you against the identity documents you will be required to present if you are successful in winning a ticket.
Who will my data be shared with:
• Ticketmaster has been contracted by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios to provide Ticketing and Event Management services at the event and selection of successful applicants will be managed by them in accordance with the ballot rules. Applications to this ballot are via the Ticketmaster’s website.
• Civica has been appointed by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios as independent verifier of the ballot and they will have access to applicant data as part of the ballot audit process
• If you are successful in winning a ticket your data will be shared with security companies and law enforcement bodies involved in the running of the event, as required, and for the purposes of accreditation and other security checks.
Retaining your data
