Ballot Rules
There are 5,000 pairs of free Platinum Jubilee Concert (the “Event”) tickets available through the Ballot.
Each successful applicant in the Ballot will be able to nominate a guest, giving a total of 10,000 tickets.
Applicants must be 18 or over as of 24 February 2022 to apply for a ticket. The nominated guest must be aged 11 or over as of 24 February 2022. Nominated guests aged under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket holder who is a parent or legal guardian or someone acting with the written consent of parent or legal guardian.
The Ballot is open to those who are resident in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man; and to those who have a BFPO address. Other overseas entries will not be considered. This applies to both applicants and their guest. This Ballot is not open to employees of Ticketmaster, the Royal Household or the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios Events team.
Applications may only be made online. Assistance will be available at local libraries if you need help completing the online application – please speak to staff.
Only one application per person is permitted. Duplicate entries are not permitted. Checks will be made to identify and exclude duplicate entries. If you are successful, your details may be subject to additional security checks, using your full name, address, place of birth and date of birth, cross checked against police databases, as part of the ballot application. This information may be shared with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios, the Royal Household, the police and other organisations concerned with the administration and security of the Event. If these security checks reveal any information that causes us concern, we reserve the right to withdraw your ticket and access to the Event and we will inform you of this decision.
Applications can be made from 07:00 hrs GMT on 24 February 2022 until 23:59 hrs GMT on 23 March 2022. Applications received after 23 March 2022 will not be considered. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an on screen confirmation and an email confirming safe receipt of the application within 48 hours.
After the closing date, tickets will be randomly drawn in a way that fairly reflects population spread across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man, and BFPO.
Tickets are not being allocated on a first-come first-served basis. There is as much chance of being selected if the application is made on 24 February as by the closing time on 23 March. Applications do not guarantee that you will receive a ticket through the ballot process.
Successful applicants will be notified by email by late April 2022. At that time successful applicants will be asked to accept their tickets.
Please check to see if your application has been successful; and check your spam and junk mail folders.
Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
Successful applicants will be asked to confirm their acceptance of the tickets by following the instructions in the email and logging into their Ticketmaster account (or creating an account if they do not have one) and following the acceptance process.
If successful applicants do not accept their tickets within two weeks (14 days) of receiving their ballot winner email their tickets will be forfeited and re-allocated through the Ballot. Successful applicants may cancel their tickets post acceptance by contacting Ticketmaster.
Tickets will be digital and successful applicants will use a QR code to gain access to the event on their mobile phone.
Successful applicants (and their guests) are responsible for their own costs including travel to and from the Event, and accommodation.
Tickets are strictly non-transferable. The ticket cannot be used by anyone other than the ballot applicant and their guest named at the point of entry into the ballot. Security arrangements will be available on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Platinum Party At The Palace website in due course.
