Terms and conditions
Tickets to The Platinum Jubilee Concert 2022 (the 'Event') will be issued on behalf of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios and the Royal Household (‘the Event Organisers’) subject to the terms and conditions indicated here or displayed at the venue (as may be changed from time to time in the Event Organisers’ absolute discretion). The use of the ticket signifies agreement by the holder to the following minimum terms and conditions:
1. The Event Organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including any damage to personal property), except in the case of death or personal injury and only if due to any negligent act or omission on their part. Under no circumstances will the Event Organisers be liable for unforeseen or indirect loss of any form. Event Organisers are also not responsible for attendee’s costs including travel to and from the event and accommodation.
2. The Event Organisers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the Event at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside their control (including but not limited to circumstances relating to the Covid-19 pandemic). They also reserve the right to alter or change the format or any aspect of the Event, or its running order and line-up without prior notification.
3. Should the Event be postponed, cancelled, the line-up changed or the format altered, the Event Organisers will not be liable for the payment of any compensation or for any loss of money and/or expenses incurred.
4. The Event Organisers may ask for reasonable proof that the bearer of the ticket has been issued with it in accordance with the rules governing the ticket ballot or other ticket distribution methods employed by the Event Organisers.
5. No child under the age of 11 will be permitted to enter. PLEASE NOTE: any eligible guest under the age of 18 MUST have a valid ticket and be accompanied by the ticket holding adult who nominated them. Guests aged under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket holder who is a parent or legal guardian or someone acting with the written consent of parent or legal guardian. Proof of age may be requested upon entry and ticket holders must bring the required personal ID stipulated below. Electronic tickets should be retained at all times during the Event.
If your guest is under 18 (and over the required minimum age of 11 as of 24 February 2022) they will not be required to provide the above identification (unless they look under the minimum age of 11 as set out below). However, they must be accompanied by you - the eligible ticket-holder. You must be aged 18 or over and have the required two forms of identification.
We reserve the right to refuse entry if the child appears to be under the minimum age of 11, at which point proof of age will apply, for example, a letter from the child’s school.
6. Tickets may not be sold, traded, transferred or offered for sale and may not be used as a prize or for any other promotional or trade purpose by anyone except the Event Organisers. Sale or attempted sale is grounds for seizure or cancellation and those trying to use resold or cancelled tickets will be refused entry into the Event.
7. Tickets cannot be used by anyone other than the person whose name appears on the ballot application and their named guest. All ticket holders will be asked to bring two separate forms of identification; one of which must be photographic (either a passport or photo driving licence or student photographic identification); and the second of which must confirm current home address. It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to inform the Event Organisers of any change to home address from that indicated on their application form.
8. No re-admission is permitted under any circumstances.
9. The Event Organisers reserve the right to refuse anyone entry to the Event in their absolute discretion, and any person who fails to comply with instructions from an official steward or other person acting on behalf of the Event Organisers may be ejected. In addition anyone found (in the opinion of the Event Organisers, or person acting on their behalf) to be causing damage to any part of the venue, the venue infrastructure, causing harm to any other person at the venue or in the near vicinity, or of behaving in an illegal, anti-social or aggressive manner, and/or appearing to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or in breach of these conditions will be ejected from the venue or the immediate vicinity and may be reported to the police. Medical exemptions may apply if the ticket holder has proof of a pre-existing medical condition with them. Guests will comply with the general conditions of entry and also any and all applicable Covid-19 guidance and/or related rules and restrictions as may be in place at the time of the Event (including those issued by the Government or local authority).
10. The Event Organisers reserve the right to search all persons and personal property and refuse admission to, or eject from the Event, any person who refuses to be searched by an official steward or the police; or other person acting on their behalf. Other than as may be required by the Event Organisers for the purposes of staging the Event, the following articles are not permitted at the Event – large flags, advertising or marketing messages, umbrellas, chairs (including folding or inflatable chairs), knives, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, glass vessels, cans, poles, and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety. This list represents a non-exhaustive list of the types of articles which are not permitted and the Event Organisers retain a discretionary right throughout.
Large bags are not allowed to be taken into the event. There is no cloakroom at the event. Small bags (1 per person) are allowed into the event with the dimensions W21cm x H30cm x D8cm (the size of A4 paper).
11. No food or alcohol is permitted to be taken into the Event. Glass and cans are not permitted. STRICTLY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES WILL BE PERMITTED. Searches will be in operation at the entrance gates and this will include the use of human and technical assets as well as dogs.
Alcohol will be on sale in the event arena. No alcohol may be purchased or consumed by those under the age of 18. Proof of age will be requested from anyone who looks under 25 years of age. The only accepted forms of ID will be a photo card driving licence, passport, or a proof or age card bearing the PASS hologram e.g. Citizen card or Validate card. No photocopies of any of the listed forms of ID will be permitted. Security patrols will also be in operation to prevent anybody under the age of 18 attempting to consume alcohol.
Please use the bins and recycling points provided on and off site.
12. Unauthorised photography or use of recording equipment is prohibited. No professional photography equipment e.g. zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will be permitted into the Event without the prior written consent of the Event Organisers. It is not permitted to film the event on mobile phones, however photographs are permitted.
13. The Event will be filmed for live and recorded transmission including but not limited to on any television network (including the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ), on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer and via internet streaming. Ticket holders hereby give their express consent (on behalf of themselves and any child ticket holders they are responsible for) to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video, photograph and/or audio recording of this Event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world in perpetuity.
14. It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces. Please observe the no smoking signage at the Event.
15. No animals will be permitted, other than guide dogs for the blind and/or hearing dogs for the deaf and/or assistance dogs.
16. WARNINGS - Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing. Smoke effects, strobe lighting, lasers and loud noises may be used at this Event.
17. Each ticket holder acknowledges that these terms and conditions of entry, together with any terms and conditions incorporated into the Ballot Rules found on the website here and any other terms and conditions as may be stipulated by the Event Organisers represent the entire agreement between themselves and the Event Organisers with respect to the Event.
18. If you are successful in winning tickets, the police may carry out security checks on you, using the information that you provide as part of the ballot application, for example, your full name, address and date of birth.
19. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
