History of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester was launched on 8 November 1967 and was the first local radio station in the UK. It wasn’t long before the station developed a large and loyal following which it still enjoys.
The style and sound of the station has changed over the years, but Leicestershire and Rutland remain at the heart of all we do.
