Soak
The name Soak combines 'soul' and 'folk'.
"Strange", she says, "as my music is neither." Soak/B锘縭idie Monds-Watso鈥媙 was born in Belfast, but grew up in Derry.
She began her musical career playing the open mic nights at Caf茅 del Mondo, before being 鈥榙iscovered鈥� via the Jammhouse sofa sessions in early 2012.
Since then she has won the NI Chordblossom 鈥楧ouble A Side鈥� competition and gigged extensively.
Recent performances include the Jammhouse, the launch of the UK City of Culture Programme, supporting The Undertones in Belfast鈥檚 Custom House Square during the Cathedral Arts Festival, the Legenderry Clipper Festival, Glasgowbury, Linkfest, the Stendhal festival and many more.

She helped kick off the UK City of Culture year performing at the 麻豆约拍鈥檚 Sons & Daughters event at The Venue in January, alongside Gary Lightbody, Nadine Coyle, Neil Hannon and many others.
