Chris and Kem were the agony uncles we never knew we needed on the Radio 1 breakfast show

Hump Day calls for one thing and one thing only: a Breakfast Show cameo from Chris and Kem.

Yup, the nation's sweethearts (because, let's be real, that's exactly what they are) paid Grimmy a visit to chat all things Little Bit Leave It (their new CHART-TOPPING single!), Lethal Bizzle beef and keeping the bromance live and kicking. And then, just when you thought they couldn't brighten up our morning anymore, they dished out relationship advice left, right and centre to callers in desperate need of some classic Chris and Kem wisdom.

Chatting to Grimmy about their colossal success, Kem revealed that the Love Island duo were blindsided by the reaction they received post-villa: "It was mad coming out. We knew we were on a big show but we came out and everyone feels like they know you, and I just don't think we was ready for how much it was gonna blow up."

People come in and tell you 'it's going off at home' but you don't take it in. You just get on with your day to day life
Chris Hughes

"We didn't know it was that big," Chris told Grimmy. "People come in and tell you 'it's going off at home' but you don't take it in. You just get on with your day to day life."

"Then we started filming for the Chris & Kem Straight Outta Love Island show and it just literally went off. We were doing scenes in some places and everyone was going mad and then we kind of realised the levels and it kind of gave us more confidence towards the song because we realised we had people backing us."

Great segue, guys. Let's chat about Little Bit Leave It...

After spitting some serious bars in the Love Island villa, Chris and Kem found themselves inundated with requests to embark on a rap career. Fast forward a few months and their single, Little Bit Leave It, has soared to the top of the iTunes chart, bagging the No.1 spot and sending the internet into a frenzy. Not shabby, fellas. Not shabby at all.

When they weren't transporting us back to that drama-filled villa where the bromance was born and the music began, the boys were reeling off the big names offering up their expertise on cracking the music biz: Zdot, Professor Green, Yungen and Krept and Konan.

"No one really expected us to be that into grime music and it was our way of, like, our bromance and we were always just spitting bars and having a go in there," Kem told us. "The opportunity has come our way so we thought 'let's give it a go!' and then we had all these incredible artists want to work with us."

But there's one guy who isn't too chuffed with their new single: Lethal Bizzle

We're not sure if this qualifies as beef - we'd need Bizzle to verify that - but it's safe to say that Chris and Kem might encounter their first rap feud if they fail to give Lethal some credit for Little Bit Leave It. Confused? Here's the dealio...

Long before Chris and Kem stole our hearts and added 'little bit leave it' to our vocab, the Lethal Bizzle of 2K11 was telling us all, emphatically, to 'leeeeeave itttttt, yeah!' (don't believe us? Just search YouTube!) and he's less than impressed that the fellas have popularised his phrase without giving him any kudos.

Over to you, Chris and Kem...

"I was just happy he tweeted us! We love Bizzle" - Chris and Kem chat about their beef with Lethal Bizzle

Turns out Lethal Bizzle isn't too thrilled with Chris and Kem's new single...

Instead of feeling an impending sense of doom about the potential beginnings of a beef with a well-respected rapper, the twosome were seemingly thrilled to be recognised by Bizzle:

"Honestly the first thing I thought - it was like a fan boy moment - I was just happy that he tweeted us! We love Bizzle, so we were like 'what's going on?!' but for me and Chris, we're amateurs. It's our first ever song, it's all new to us. We never really thought about all these things - we don't really know the legal side of the game - so in terms of that we was like just talk to the label.

We're just enjoying making songs. We don't want no beef or anything, we're massive fans. We're just kind of leaving it. I think it's all light-hearted banter, y'know. He knows anything like that you kind of talk to the people behind rather than me and Chris."

Back to you, Bizzle...

And then we enlisted duo to dish out relationship advice

This went just about as well as you'd expect (read: amazingly), but we're not entirely convinced that the advice is practical and/or advisable. Listen for yourself and learn. Warning: proceed with caution.

Here's some digestible nuggets of wisdom, and some pieces of advice you should absolutely avoid, courtesy of C and K...

In a relationship where you feel as though your significant other isn't as pro-active as they were in the beginning? Here's how you solve it, apparently.

Avoid: "My personal advice would be... just threaten to leave him." Drastic but... effective? Thanks Chris.

Accept: "The best thing for you to do in this situation is maybe give him a little space. Make him realise what he's missing. Give yourself two days apart to spend with your friends and then he's going to realise what he's missing and he's gonna work for it a little bit more. Make him know that he hasn't got you on hand 24/7... and then he'll realise 'wow, I really do miss her, I'm gonna put more effort in.'" Sterling advice, Kem.

Is your bromance suffering because your bezzie has moved in with his girlfriend? Fear not!

Avoid: "There are two ways you could go about it. You could either be spiteful towards the girlfriend and maybe blackmail her in some form of way. Take something that means a lot to her." Avoid. At. All. Costs. But thanks anyway, Kem.

Accept: "Maybe get her a dog or a rabbit. Keep her occupied." We wouldn't mind a rabbit, TBH.
