The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing stage makes it debut at T in the Park this year.
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing stage will showcase 22 up-and-coming artists and bands from around the UK, including eight from Scotland.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing supports unsigned, under-the-radar and undiscovered music, and has a presence at some of the key UK music festivals throughout the year, including Radio 1's Big Weekend, Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds.
Jason Carter, Editor, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing, says: "We're very excited to be bringing a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing stage for the first time to Scotland, and especially delighted to be taking it to yet another of the premier festivals in the UK.
"Brand new up-and-coming artists from around the country, selected by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, will be able to play alongside some of the biggest artists in the world and the performances will be recorded for broadcast across TV, radio and online.
"Some of the early Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing artists who have performed previously at festivals have gone on to major success and I'm sure, having heard the T line-up, we will be hearing more from some of these artists in the future."
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing Stage line-up for T in the Park is:
Since its start in 2007, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing has developed into a network of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing shows on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 1Xtra, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 6 Music, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Asian Network and across more than 30 local Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ radio stations.
Musicians can upload their music at bbc.co.uk/introducing for the possible opportunity of being broadcast on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio, which could lead to a slot on one of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing stages.
The first Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing stage was launched at Glastonbury in 2007 where amongst the names performing were The Ting Tings.
There is comprehensive coverage of T in the Park on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1 across the weekend.
Edith Bowman returns to present the best of the weekend's live music on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland. Co-hosting with Edith on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔΒ Three will be fellow Radio 1 favourites Reggie Yates and Nick Grimshaw.
Plus, Radio 1 and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland presenter Vic Galloway joins Edith on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Scotland and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two Scotland, and newcomer Matt Edmondson will report from across the festival site for all three channels.
Radio 1 returns to T in The Park with live music highlights, the latest news and the backstage gossip.
On Friday 10 July Edith Bowman brings the opening day atmosphere in her show from 1.00 to 4.00pm.
On Saturday 11 July Huw Stephens is in Kinross as the Saturday afternoon Request Show goes totally T from 1.00 to 4.00pm.
Then, on Monday 13 July, Nick Grimshaw presents the definitive round-up of the festival in his show from 9.00pm to midnight.
