Meet The Immigrants is a six-part observational documentary following the stories of migrants living and working in Britain today, including people trying to survive in northern France as they attempt to enter the UK.

As the subject of immigration tops headlines and leads political debate on an almost daily basis, the series aims to explode the myths and stereotyping of people from abroad living in Britain.

The programme covers a wide range of stories, from Eastern Europeans learning to drive taxis in seaside resorts to refugees from war-torn countries seeking asylum. It includes refugees facing the desperation of deportation, and domestic workers surviving on the minimum wage.

Sometimes funny, frequently heart-warming and often gut-wrenching, Meet The Immigrants explores the truth about being a migrant living in Britain today.
