Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms in the Park brings the magic of the Last Night of the Proms to more than a
million people across the United Kingdom.

Each of the five events is centred around a live
concert, each with its own high-profile artists, orchestras and presenters, which culminate in
a live link-up to the Royal Albert Hall for the traditional festivities rounding off the world's
biggest music festival.

three-year deal

Two new venues are announced for 2007. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms in the
Park moves for the first time to the Tees Valley, with an event
in Centre Square, Middlesbrough. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cleveland
breakfast presenter Matthew Davies hosts the proceedings
with the North East’s finest orchestra, Northern Sinfonia,
taking centre stage for the evening’s music. Also joining the fun
for the first time is Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, with a
concert at Carrickfergus Castle with the Ulster Orchestra.

Alongside the new venues, Hyde Park in London, Singleton
Park in Swansea and Glasgow Green again host simultaneous
events. For anyone not near one of the Parks, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Big Screens
will be at the centre of Last Night of the Proms celebrations
around the country with events in Manchester (Exchange
Square), Birmingham (Chamberlain Square), Liverpool
(Clayton Square), Hull (Queen Victoria Square), Leeds
(Millennium Square), Rotherham (All Saints Square), Bradford
(Centenary Square) and Derby (Market Place).

Top artists to be announced over the coming months take to
the stage in Hyde Park.A huge variety of music groups and
stars will again be involved around the country. Esteemed
conductors including Carl Davis, Grant Llewellyn, Robert
Ziegler and Kenneth Montgomery will lead the music around
the UK.

NS&I, the government-backed savings and investments
provider, has renewed its event sponsorship of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms in
the Park in a new three-year deal which covers sponsorship of
all five venues. John Prout, NS&I Sales Director, said: "We are delighted to
renew our commitment as event sponsor of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms in
the Park.The partnership has so far been a huge success and
we are looking forward to working together again on this
vibrant evening of celebration which brings the country
together.This event reaches out to so many people, which
makes it a perfect fit with NS&I which has a long-standing
association with classical music, and it enables us to raise
awareness of NS&I to a wider audience."

Televised highlights of all five Proms in the Park are shown as
part of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two's live coverage of the Last
Night of the Proms. Digital TV viewers can press the red
button to watch a selection of Proms in the Park coverage
from around the UK. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 broadcasts the Hyde Park
concert nationally and local Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio networks broadcast
events in Tees Valley, Swansea, Carrickfergus and Glasgow.
