Apprentice alumni

Μύ

Tim Campbell, series one winner, was subsequently appointed the Project Director for Amstrad's health and beauty division where he has enjoyed continued success. His year-long contract was extended bearing testament to the fact that The Apprentice proved to be a hugely useful recruitment tool for Sir Alan and one that he is keen to repeat.

Μύ

Michelle Dewberry, series two winner, completed 12 months at Amstrad and now runs a successful business consultancy.

Μύ

Of the runners-up of last series, seven have already launched their own companies with two candidates even developing a lucrative business arrangement together, demonstrating the kind of entrepreneurial spirit that got them onto the show in the first place.

Μύ

Ben Stanberry, the first casualty of the boardroom, is running a successful health consultancy business that employs fellow candidate Mani Sandler as an adviser.

Μύ

Working together has helped the company expand rapidly and pick up prized NHS contracts throughout the UK. Ben has also found time to campaign for the Conservative Party after winning a seat in Barnes, London.

Μύ

With equal energy Jo Cameron has set up a recruitment company website offering opportunities for minorities.

Μύ

Samuel Judah owns Bright Light Innovations, a company which aims to provide creative solutions to consumer problems whilst Syed Ahmed is getting set to launch a revolutionary new body drying system later this year which will help cut carbon emissions in the leisure industry by half.

Μύ

Meanwhile, from series one: Raj Dhonota launched his own company Global Proximity – a UK-based firm that outsources work to foreign countries; Adele Lock opened a men's grooming salon, Gentry Grooming; and Paul Torrisi has sold his property company for £4million.

Μύ

Sir Alan Sugar

Μύ

Sugar himself left school in Hackney aged 16 and started trading from a small council flat. By the Eighties his Amstrad computer was a household name across Europe and the company celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2008.

Μύ

Thick-skinned and uncompromising, he became Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur FC and is still their biggest single shareholder. He has a full pilot's licence and owns an executive private jet company AMSAIR as well as a Mayfair property portfolio.

Μύ

He was recruited to the Government's Treasury Industry Team where he is an adviser to Chancellor Gordon Brown on youth enterprise.

Μύ

Now aged 60, Sir Alan is still at the top of his game with a global empire worth over Β£800million.

Μύ

Μύ

In addition to this a weekly 20-minute topical debate will be available to download after each broadcast episode. The radio-quality show will feature discussions, a round-up of comments from the press, the performance of the candidates and inevitably ... views on Sir Alan's firing that week.
