Claire Murray
Claire Murray

Claire is 26 years old and from Belfast but has lived in Spain, Portstewart and travelled Australia. She has always enjoyed writing.

I Remember you by Claire Murray
I remember you
Not as you were or are,
But magnified, X100

I remember you
Bathed in light
Glistening and never dull

I remember you as life and soul
The centre and the whole
Unending opportunity and joy

When Iam gone
I speak of you with rose filled words
Defensive , cutting and protective

I see you as I wish
And I wish you to be all
Reality is shocking but not blinding

You are elevated beyond compare
But you are not the true memory
Nothing is that good

I remember you
Not as you were or are
But magnified, X100
And you are mine, regardless
