I think the Prisoner of Azkaban is a great movie but it misses out loads of stuff from the book! It was supposed to be the 1 where they win the quidditch cup but they didn't even mention it! Plus Harry only gets the Firebolt at the end of the movie! What's up with that?

Well, I must say that I thought it would be better. I read the book and I was expecting the film to be more spectacular! But, Tom was even hotter than i imagined, so... it was ok!
Desireè, Scotland

How did you get into acting? What advice would you give some one who wants to become an actor, and how you would you go about doing it?

First of all can i say how overated is Harry Potter. I mean 1 Kids book ok but grown adults reading all 5 of them and also watching the movies. What is this world coming to? Yes I have seen the film, rubbish acting, special effects, plot, what more can i say?
Smelly Cat, Norwich

I loved it and cant wait for the DVD. There were things left out, true. But it was the best one by far!
Angela, USA

I did not like it - it was too dark. They need Chris Columbus back! They also need a change in actors.
Eleni, USA

I like it but you left alot of thing out! But I just love Daniel Radcliffe!
Crystal from U.S

I like it but you left alot of thing out! But I just love Daniel Radcliffe!
Crystal from U.S

Jodie, Kettering

I didn't enjoy the third movie of Harry Potter at all! What made my toes curl was the sight of seeing the werewolf. It looked more like a sickly ape then anything! The ending was very disturbing in the sence of pitiful. Ending a movie with Harry Potter in a blur was stupid. What ever happened to the train ride home?
Derek. D

it was ok but not as good as the 2nd movie
Eric, Oshawa

I was originally from one of the places it was set so I think I liked it very much! My friends sat through all the ending credits and I would give it 10 out of 10.
Luin Varent, Canada

I thought that the film was Excellent and watched it quite a few times with my friends and couldn't help telling them what was going to happen. I thought Dan was great and loved the bit where he is riding on Buckbeath also when he goes back in time, when i watch the film again im still scared and the room is all quite and full of suspense. This film has so far been the best and is my fave, I give it a 10 out of 10. Even my mum {who doesn't usually like films } liked it!
Larissa Harden Luton Beds

i loved the prisoner of azkaban. i liked the part when hermonie and harry went into the past.
Tabitha Dunn

i love it my best film is chamber of secrts i read the books
casey

I really enjoyed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, I would have to say it's my favorite film out of the three. I don't see why so many people have and are complaing about the film it was very good. I absloutley can not wait until the fourth one comes out and i also can not wait until the sixth box is out in stores! XOXOXOXOXO! Hugs and Kisses from Alberta!
Katherine Chabot, Alberta Canada

I HATE HARRY POTTER! HARRY POTTER IS LAME AND SO IS ANYONE THAT LIKES IT! (not including my friends(only one luikes it so that doesnt matter then does it?!)
goggin -russia

I love Harry Potter. I think i have read the books 1000 times each! but i apsolutely HATE the 3rd film. it changes the story too much and they left the Firebolt until the end. But what buggs me the most is that the Dementors shoodn't be able to fly, they glide along the ground. I cant see any reason for the film makers to change that. I think they should have left the layout of the Hogwarts grounds alone too. And since when when were Werewolfs hairless?
Bemused Fan, Hemel

the third movie was OK but i really think the first and second were much better
anonymous australia

my favourite harry potter book is the second one!
Rebecca-london

i think it is a great movie.. but i think the books are better.. hugs from DK

HIM

We thought it was the best of the 3 we totally loved it!but didnt you think it was funny when harry cried!we think he is v.hot!!
chloe and lauren dorset

I think the prisoner of azkaban is a really great film. I know Harry is the lead character but Rupert grint(ron) is the best actor i have seen in any of the films.
Laura from Rochdale

i thought it was rubbish
jimbob from earith

I thought the film was wicked, don't know why so many people are complaining about it, rock on Harry Potter!
Sarah Harrison (Mousey) Derby

I loved the film.Espashally Remus Lupin. He is so sexy.
lucy boylett, England

I would not have went to the CINEMA to see anything else it was brilliant!
Mairi-louise, Dundee

The 3rd movie was 'aint what i expected' but its cool though. Can't wait for the 4th film.
Mae, UAE

I thought that all the visual effects were great, but the movie didn't seem quite so magical as the first two. I did not like how the layout of the grounds was different. I really did not like the teenage drama. Overall i think it was just made to make more money and not to interest hardcore HP fans.
Huw Jones, Bahamas

I thought it was great. The cast became so mature, especially Tom Felton. I can't wait to see the next movie. Always Remember To Smile
Liz Durnan,Victorville, California, USA

I thought the movie was awesome, go Emma, Dan and Rupert. Fourth should be fantastic. Good luck. HP&PoA could have been slightly longer though.
J.S, New Zealand

It was incredibly excellent I absolutely loved it! They all fit in their roles. It's by far the best!
Stephanie, Birmingham

I say that it was totally BORING.
Kate, North Wales

I thought it was great. My best bit was where Harry and Hermione went back in time and she punched mouthdoy.
Jd Banning, Reading

its was cool but it could of been better
liam edmunds wiltshire

the director dude left out far too much.... they better not do that to the next movie !!! anyhoo, it was still the best movie out this year (along side with spiderman2) peace out xxxx p.s ron was sooo cute :):):)

n... from Bangkok

i think it is the best one so far.And i thought that daniel radcliffe was looking great as usual. The acting was great and there was never a scene were i thought was boring.Ive seen it 5 times all ready and i think its great. And i think dan lookes sexy when he was doing the patronum spell at the end.
ruth, newport south wales

i think it is the best one so far.And i thought that daniel radcliffe was looking great as usual. The acting was great and there was never a scene were i thought was boring.Ive seen it 5 times all readdy and i think its great. And i think dan lookes sexy when he was doing the patronum spell at the end.
ruth, newport

This movie angered me... I work at a cinema in Lesta so I got the oppotunity to see this movie several times and found too many mistakes. It would've added much time to add Pig or the Firebolt earlier in the bloody movie! But I think what really ticks me off is 'ow me mum and everyone else who 'asn't read the books was utterly confused because no one mentioned Lupin was a Marauder, or even why Harry's charm was a stag. *screams!*
Madoka 17, Lesta!

It was amazing! I saw it 3 times! It was sooooo good! I loved how Daniel Raddclife acted he is sooo good!
Kim California

Dude it ROCKED!
Anna,USA

I thought it was pretty good but I was very disappointed by the fact that a lot was left out of the film that was in the book. I hope that with a new director making Goblet of Fire that none of the important parts in the story are left out. They left out the sirius black attack on ron weasley and they left out the scene after it where ron first starts to think crookshanks ate scabbers. They also left the Quidditch Cup out and the part where Harry gets the firebolt they put at the very end of the movie. Which I didn't like. That's all I'm going to write because I don't want to write too many of the problems I have with the movie and I have a lot.
Rachel -New York,NY

I WELL SORT OF LIKE DAN WELL MORE THAN THAT.WAT I CAN,T TAKE IS THAT HE LIKES CHO CHANG .HE IS MINER!!!!!
HANA LONDON

I loved the movie it was so bloodly brillant. But some of the differcues were bad. 1) NO CHO CHAG. no quidditch cup thankz Bye
Laney , United States

i really thinmk the hp film brilliant and loved when draco got punched i really love hermine she is a good actor harry is amazing ron is brilliant.
james.norwich

HarmianY is really Hotttt!
Gatler, Bulgaria

I think PoA was a really good movie but it was kinda short n the parts i was lookin forward to weren't on. I think ron & hermione will get together though.
Angel, Saudi Arabia

maria from wales

I luvvv Harry Potter so0o much Hermione is v pretty Ron is sxy and funny and Harry is a really good actor !! Well done Emma Rupert and Dan xxx
Steph xWx Scotland

I loved the movie it was really cool and I can't stop watching it. I wish I could meet the cast so much and I hope they all stay to make the rest of the movies! The acting in the Harry Potter movies is much better than the acting in most of all other movies I've seen. This is going to sound stupid, but I tried so hard to become an extra in The Goblet of Fire but I heard that you had to be of UK residence only but I'm going to visit England and Scotland anyway. I just love everything about the movie and I hope that everything goes well with everyone who had to do with it. I love you all. Love, Jessica
Jessica Kirtley, Fayetteville, North Carolina, US

Emma you are so sexy and i love you
Daniel west. Kent

harry potter was very good and it was fun to see

I thought the movie was awesome and I've seen it 4 times. (im going for 12) i didnt think it was the best the first time, but after that it just got better and better!! the actors are utterly amazing and hats off to Alfonso. i hope the original cast stays in it for the rest of the movies *fingers crossed* i hope there are more. these guys seriously rock! keep up the good work! luv to all. Sheridan
Sheridan from USA

i think HP and the P of A is the best HP film ever!it's really good, much better than the rest.i want to see it again, and when it comes out on video and dvd i'm definetely going to buy it.i would reccomend it to all HP fans, and people who like lord of the rings.it's great!

Alice,Swansea

it is fantastic. i am a fan of harry potter and this is the best film out of the three.i can not wait to see the next movie.
gemma calvert from hertfordshire

Hi! I think that Alfonso did a great first job, but I'm not realy pleased. He cut away lotsof stuff and "forgot" many people and Ron's owl (Pig). I was disappointed with the end, I was hoping that they zoomed outof the window of the Great Hall. But they didn't.... I think the end was disappointing. But he did a very good job, though! Keep up the good work, people! luv from me, Elise.
Elise from Norway

The film is the best film ever Hermiony loosens up and hits draco = nice one!!
sophie

i think the film is wicked and i think rupert grint is fit and also i love him to bits
aqeela azaz bilbrough

the film is fab and i can't wait for it to come out on dvd
Nathan Hickton from East Dereham

I thought that the film was very good but why did Harry get the Firebolt right at the end of the film?
Bob Suffolk

the film is the best film so far, the best part is where hermione hits ron!
bristol

i thought the film was great and it was the best one so faR!!!i loved the part when Hermoine hit Draco, i thought that was fab!!
sophie luker from london

Aysha Cabrini Japan

I thought that emma watson looked fine
james england

the film was grait and i love the bit that harmiany punches malfoi.from india
india neckel.from perthsire

i haven't seen the film yet but my sisters have and they said it was the best of the three!!! have you got a new director??
becca-brighton

That was 1 of da best movies i have ever seen. Daniel radcliffe is sooooooo hot - 1 day i want to marry him and go into the film business as well. I know so much about him that he likes soccer and running and his 2 dogs and he listens to rock music alot i could go on but me hands will hurt.
Stephanie, Australia

I love harry potter i went to watch harry potter and thr prisoner of azkaban. I think the prisoner of azkaban was the best film ever you just have seen. I know you will like it.
Hamda, London.

I cant wait to see the fourth movie i wonder who will play the beautiful girl.
Jr , Texas

daniel radcliffe is realy sexy
lauren

I think it is the best 1 so far.I think it could have followed the book more eg; show tension between Ron and Hermione and get the firebalt earlier and show Black standing oover Rons bed it was fantastic all the same
Caitlin, Autralia

I think Harry Potter & The Prizoner Of Azkaban is The Best Film Ever!
Galani, Grimsby

I think the prisoner of azkaban is the best one yet because it's like it happens in real life. I think everybody should see it because i know you'll like it.
Rachael , Scotland

I really liked the movie because the book is my favorite. The thing is i would have liked it to have been more like the book. But thats okay.
Kassie

The Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in my opinion was completely and utterly superb. I was only dissapointed in the placement of the firebolt scene. Alfonso Cuaron is an amazing director. He has helped progress Dan,Rupert, and Emma's acting abilities. His other movies are equally good in that respect. The way Alfonso pictured this movie based on this book actually did justice to the book with great efficacy to keep the image of the book. That is really saying something because the books are the best books I have ever read and that is comparing to Tolkien's books Lord of The Rings. Alfonso Cuaron transitioned a book into a movie with out making a flaw,Chris Columbus doesn't even compare in the respect of creativity and vision of the movie.
Samantha ,USA

I think that the 3rd one didn't really follow much of a story line. It was a bit confusing and left out parts that would've linked the story together a lot better, but over all it was of course a good film - after all it's still Harry Potter :)
eileen, north carolina, usa

I went to see it yesterday. I thought the story line was quite terrible with no real direction - however if I were younger I would have liked it due to the exciting scenes, and the idea of magic and wizardry.
Edd, Norwich

Very good but could have been better.
matthew, norwich

I thought the movie was quiet good except it did not seem like a whole year at hogwarts. I also thought that the second and the third were a lot better.
lauren morphett, australia

i thought it was the best yet. even though i wish i knew has won the quittich cup for the last 3 movies it is driving me and mum crayz. i think my favorite part of the poa is when harry rides birdbeack. all my friends think i am such a dorck because i watch the 1st movie like every night and i love the books so far i am only on the 3rd book but they are great, thank u miss.rowling for making such wonderful books and allowing to let this studio make the movies. just tonight i joined the harrypotter.com fan club thing. keep up the good work everyone. ps> buy the way daniel ratcliff is really hot xoxoxoxox
ashley, california

i think it was very disappointing, the book has much more magic than the film.
michelle, norfolk,uk

Me and my Mum saw it and we thought it was brilliant! We loved the whole thing! We thought it was funny and scary! I told my mums friends and they saw it the next day!
Megan, England

I think the first and the second film were better than the third. They were better when you think what's happened in the books, but when you don't think so, this film is brilliant. The best! I like it very much!
Lisa, Germany

i ♥ harry potter its the best thing in the world even food jp but i loved the movie it was bloody brillaint in ron's words the boys were all hot except for that fat boy i dont know sorry to that actor:'( so it was a good movie i ♥ it im obessed so what can i say?
mercedes /Florida

I think the third movie was the best, yet!!I love it that the characters are all teenagers, and I love every scene where there is this awkward thing going on between Rubert And Emma and they start blushing. 3rd movie=fantastic!!! Plus the acting is just awsome.Cannot wait for the 4th one!!!!!
Arwa,UAE

I thought that the 3rd film was brill
kayleigh sbrighton

Do you know anyone who dose not think Ruperts hott
Brooke USA Oregon

I have two words for the movie BLOODY BRILLIANT!
Rachel, Hertfordshire, England

Ilove all the Harry Potter films and read all the books and there all amazing,it was truly fantastic and i cant wait for it to come out on video so i can watch my fave film again and again,Another thing about the film is you dont want to move from your seat because you feel as if your there so year its a great film
Lauren,Grimsby

I thought the third movie was bloody brilliant! But I do have to say the book was better. Omg (oh my god), Rupert was so fit.
Rachel

she is very beautiful girl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to meet her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!kiss
katreen, paris

It was GREAT!! I loved it!!! Daniel is the BEST!! It was really funny. But some important parts weren`t there. That was a dissapointment.
Mitthi, UAE

god, after reading peoples comments i just don't know what 2 say.I thought that i was the only 1 in the world that DIDN'T like this film but it looks like i was wrong!! They left out the important parts of the story and the end was really rubbish and before the film came out i thought that the 3rd is gonna be the best but...the director really let me down this time.
priya london

i like harry potter so much ive got all of his vids and books
joshua

Amazing! The best film in the world and Danial Radcliff is so cool! I would love 2 chat with him!
Laura Pile, Bristol

I thought the film was brilliant but it left out a lot of the detail from the book so some parts didn't make much sense
Eleanor Craven , Scotland

I watched the movie and it was brilliant it is the best movie i have watched so far! I want to say hello to Rach from Wales - can u talk Welsh i can - the girl who likes the books better.
Kimbelrey Davies, West Wales

The best of the lot! An edge of the seat movie. I loved it. I've been to see it 5 times and i still want more.
Lauren, Falmouth Cornwall

i love the new harry poter film, although i still think the book is better! the film one of the best i've seen this year, and its good to see all the actors developing their roles. I used to be so jealous of Emma Watson, when i first found out they picked her for the part of Hermione, but seeing her act has made all the difference as she is a superb actress and hopefully she'll go into acting as a full time job, when she's a bit older. I want to be an actress when im older and seeing her act has inspired me to get more into it than i would have. Thankyou Emma! Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint's acting skills have improved too and i hope that they will also go on to act full time. The ilm was great! i thank JKRowling for creating something that has changed the lives of so many people, childrena and adults, and i hope she writes about things other than Harry in the future!

Daniel is Harry, no one can replace him.

I really enjoyed the prizoner of azkaban. It was good to see Daniel Radcliffe, Emma watson, Tom Felton and my all time favorite Rupert Grint. They are my fav stars and i'm their BIGGEST FAN!!! I just want to say if you guys are reading this your fantastic and keep up the good work. I just loved the part where rupert was in his bed having bad dreams about the spiders and how he was telling Daniel that they werer making him TAP. It was really funny. LOL. U GUYS ROC. luv ya 4 eva. Your biggest fan: ruth.

I think Harry Potter 3 was the best movie I have ever seen. Me and my mum keep arguing wich movie is better Harry Potter of LOTR! HP wins!! In my opinion. I saw this book today which is a foney of HP it was called Barry Totter, all the names were kinda the same to like Serious Blech!!! anywayz Dan, Tom, N Rupert look alot older and alot more hotter in this movie...time will see what type of hunks they are! lol...Luv Ya Jessica
Jessica, from Texas but born ENGLISH

I thought the third movie was not as good as the book. Every scene went so quickly and then the final scene went very slowly. Even though the movie wasn't as good as the book, I still saw the movie three times. Oh yeah, I'm a huge Rupert Grint fan!
Rachel, Hertfordshire

I thought that the director could have done a much better job at HP3. Personally I think that I wouldn't ever watch it again if it weren't for Rupert Grint being in it since he's the only good thing about the POA that I expected and wasn't disapointed.
Lesley Emery, U.S.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE FILM, AS WAS EVERYONE I SPOKE TO. THE MAGIC OF THE FIRST 2 WERE GONE. TOO MUCH WAS CHANGED OR DELETED. WHAT A LETDOWN!
KAREN FROM LEBANON INDIANA

Harry potter is da best in da world no matter whay any1 says I love him so much
Rachael Chester

the new film is ok but everything is in the wrong order and it misses out some very vital bits such as when black goes into the dormatary for the 2nd time but gets as far as rons bed cuts it open with a knife ron wakes up sees him and shouts out loud "black! sirius black! with a knife!" but this doesnt happen as such in the film.i have read each of the books 46 times each inc. the 5th one but i was very let down by the 3rd film.the film is only just over 3hrs where as the 2nd and 1st were longer but the books are smaller than the3rd but the films are longer. Also they only have one quiddich match where the dementors fly. even though the effects are great they dont fly in the book they just wander onto the pitch. overall the film is good but i think it needs alot of magic happening to realy make it great im sorry but the director obviosly is losing his touch:( P.S.andrew jones, ascot i totaly aggree with you

i think it was brilliant i really liked the part when hermione hit draco and guess what i am the number one fan of harry potter
rachael jackson n.ireland

It was great. The three stars looked more mature than before. The thing i love most was the TWIST near the end of the movie. That they were the one (emma and dan) gohsting. hehe... i love it. tom's a lot handsome ever.
daisy from philippines

the movie was great, i loved the fact that they put more comedy in it ^_^, but they took WAY too much out of the book, i mean if i haven't read the book it would have being just perfect, but they didn't explain somethings and that was kind of confusing, anyway if they were to add a few more things the movie would be PERFECT!!!
A.C. canada

I thought it was ok. I loved the first two and have read all five books many times and was extremely let down by the latest movie. The look of the school had completely changed. The trio never had to gone down a mountain-side to get to Hagrid's house before, how can you change it that much. The movie just completely jumped from scene-to-scene, there never was a smooth flow to it. Too many scene were left out. I mean how can you leave out the Quidditch Cup, and the just completely change the time when Harry receives the Firebolt. I would have liked to have seen a longer movie to get the important things in. And that ending, what the hell was that? My mouth just dropped, I felt empty after watching the movie, especially with all the excitment I had going into it. I just had higher hopes for it, and those that say they loved it, best one yet, has obviously net read the book.
Brian from Mississippi

i saw poa and i loved it. the special effects were incredible, and you could see how much everyone has matured both in their acting abilities and in their personalities. =)
Cecilia, USA

I thought it was great except for the fact that they took out so many things from the book. Things I really wanted to see on screen.Anyway,I thought Rupert, Daniel, and Emma's performances were awesome. And Alfonso did I brillant job on focusing on the fact that they were teens.
Angela Raiford; St.Louis, Missouri

i missed most of the film because i was looking at emma. i wouldnt have went if emma wasnt in it. if anyone has got emmas number pleaseeeeee give it to me and i swear i will give u 50 pound. i fancy emma i luvvvvv her so much i want to marry her. p.s. shes mine.

I recone harry potter and the prison of azkaban is the best so far. it is more scaryer, more acshone, new spells, new people.but I was disapionted because it has less parts in the film and more parts in the story but when I sore it I thouht it should be no.1 in the charts and get a million acadamy awards. I am the biggest fan of harry potter BYE!!!!!!
jamie, south wales

harry potter is great.it is the best movie i saw this year
jessica, london

i think that it was good but i dson't think that it was as good as the last two my fave was the second one but i still think that it was very very very very good indeed
katy, killearn

It was good but it missed out the most important parts!!!!!! I've seen it 3 times and would put the films in this order 1 Philosophers Stone 2Chmber of secrets 3Prisoner of Azkaban Anyone agree? No? Ah well
Kristy from Cov

I was extremely disappoined with the film. Well filmed, well acted naff screenplay !!! Far too much was taken out and silly things added. The didn't even explain who Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prong were, why the shreiking shack and the whoming willow were there and why James and Sirius becam Animagi!!! No focus on Crookshanks hounding Scabbeers, Not Sirius attack on Ron in the dorms, I was totaly deflated after watching it.
Andrew Jones, Ascot

yes we have thought it was just as good yet definiatly darker as so are the books

ASHLING PICKETT FROM KENT

I was a bit dissapointed when I saw the movie. There was so much stuff left out. If no. 3 is missing so much stuff what is number 4&5 gonna be like? And the film didn't explain to me why Harry suddenly liked Sirius, I mean, just because the man didn't kill his parents. There was not much about Harrys father, Sirius and Lupus being friends, if there would have been, it would have made sense why Harry likes Sirius. The film didn't explain much about the marouders map and the fact that the 3/4 friends were animaguses. Then i didn't make any sense when Harrys Patronus was a deer. Is it just me or did the Patronus only take shape as a deer at the first time and then not when we saw it in the time-turner? I missed a lot in the ending, they should have travveled back to London instead of seeing Harry on the broom. I also loved a lot in the movie. I think it's great that the different places at Hogwarts (like the whomping wilow and Hagrids hut) Have changed places. Now it seems like Hogwarts is very very great ang i love that!!! The special effects in the movie were great (exept for the dementors, trey are not supposed to be flying just float, but i liked the way they sucked out the good memories). I expecialy likked the way the sound was used, like when they were back in time and you could hear the ticking watch. And finally the actors, I loved aunt Marge, what a shame the shot was so short. It's great to see how much the kids have learned since the first movie and I liked the way Ron and Hermione played with each other.
Emma, U.K.

does anybody know what emma watson's phone number is? Soooooooooo fit.
adam, london

I was really disappointed. I'm a Dumbledore fan & I felt they didn't do him justice. He looked like was wearing a bed sheet, his hair was half the length it should be and he didn't have the feelin g of greatness that Dumbledore has. Trewlaney's prediction was really important & they completely stuffed it up. Overall it kind of lacked the magic that the first two movies had.
De Australia

OMG, i don't know what anyone else thought but i absolutely LOVED harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!!!! it is definately my fave movie of the three so far!!!! i thought the random comedy was great!!! especially Ron's spider fit in the middle of the night!!! But i must say, even though i loved it i thought that Cuaron could've perhaps put a little more information about the marauders!!! and the end was a tad botched but the rest of the movie was excellent!
Emma, Australia

I saw the movie at the midnight premiere and must say I was very impressed with Alfonso's work. The movie was a lot more humurous.... my friends and I have been quoting it since we saw it. It did leave out somethings, like who the marauders were, and that Sirius had broken into the dormitory and was at Ron's bed. I didn't like the ending though. But otherwise it was stupendous! A tip of the hat to Alfonso and the awesome actors! Emma Watson was great as was Dan Radcliffe. Gambon played Dumbledore as I had pictured him after reading the books.... wonderful job on the Prisoner of Azkaban!
Amy USA

Had I not read the book it would have been enjoyable but I think it was by far the worst one yet when you consider how much was left out.
Tyler from Tennessee

I too was dissapointed in the movie. I thought it was rushed. I didn't like the scene changes they were off. Even the hogwarts grounds themselves didn't seem right. What was with the shrunken heads? didn't fit. Dumbledore I thought was wrong too. I know he is not richard harris but richard harris is more of the dumbledore from the books. I like the more literal approch that chris columbus had to the movies. Now the acting was great!! All the kids have really grown into their roles. I just was alittle let down.
Randee Minnesota USA

I was very disappointed with the movie. Maybe Peter Jackson should have directed it :0 There was way too much left out.
Kathy ,New Zealand

Did anyone notice that Pigwidgeon didn't get to make his appearance at the end of the film? I was quite saddened by that, although I know it was only a minor thing. . . overall I think everyone involved did an awesome job!
Emily, u.s. of a

the movie was gret the problm is they took some of the inportint clues in the movie, and they took the kids out of the robes it look more like a "muggle" movie then a witch/wizerd movie, they even change the grounds....*sigh* i just hope the 4th one willbe better p.s. look at Veronica, Italy of what i mean
Ariel, Alaska

Overall, it was great! Some (important) parts were missing, but I think the acting made up for it. You can really tell how much the trio have grown, and they're a lot more comfortable with their rolls. Great job Cauron!
Jennifer, Ontario Canada

It was fantastic! i cryed so much when Harry was crying. I thought that it was da best soooo far.
Hannah, Australia

i thought it was great!!! they could've had an other ending though but the movie was great!!!!
My name is camilo calderon and im from Canada

the movie had to many holes in it,it need to explain things better. the scene's didnt flow smoothly together,as if they aperated/jumped from one scene/chapter to another.i've enjoyed more foriegn films with sub-titles then POA. i know you can not put everything in a book into a movie[thats getting old to hear]but your still need to explain things so there is no gaps like in POA. one's first crush is a big emotion, learning details on one's dead parents at that age is another just to name a few. now GOF is going to have to explain things that should of been explain in POA so GOF is going to be messed up to with WB comment to only 2.5 hour movie, and GOF should be a 4 hour movie on its own at least,so i hate to see the hack job to GOF with the hack job they did to POA. hopefully WB dose not! have the movie rights to book 5,6&7.
MR.B michigan

I was a little disappointed in the movie. For any real Harry Potter fan that has read the books it left so much stuff out that was really important and some stuff that is so much fun that you would have liked to see it in the film. To see the Gryffindor quiddtich team win the cup would be nice to see. To see the importance of the shape that Harry's patronus should have taken (not just a big light show). I also didn't like how the movie ended. He received the firebolt on Christmas morning and then Hermonie got it taken away from him. The fighting between Ron and Hermonie was downplayed. I would have preferred it to be longer and to have it somewhat in the correct order.
Heidi, MN

The film was spectacular!
Marifer, mexico

The film was fabulous. I love it from start to finish. I can't wait to see it again. The dementor were so amazingly scary. They were just as I imagined them. Buckbeak was awesome. I am so looking forward to GOF.
Kathy, Chicago, IL

An excellent film w/ superb performances all round. However, it left me emotionally high & dry. It lacked the heart & deep feeling of the Chris Columbus pictures.
Karl Watson from Staten Island, NY USA

although this is the best in the series so far the movie lacked the genius of the book. It is my favouurite book and i feel that so much key info was left out. I mean come on the firebolt scene at the end oonly works if youve read the book. i am sorry if ive disagreed with everyone but the film just was not of the quality i invisioned.
stewart from norfolk

It was good but i prefer the book more so the the movie
erin,ontario, canada

Overall, I thought the movie was good. But I think it did a bad job in following the books.
Emily - United States of America

The film came over here on the 9th of June. Wow! It exceeded my expectations. I'm really eager to see it a second time or on DVD. Great special effects! The sound effects really scared me. I am a trifle sad that the plot had a lot of holes, which can only be explained to someone who has already read the book, but this movie rocks! Waiting eagerly for HP4 (Nov. 18, 2005)
Jonathan, Oman

I love the movie but i was a little disappointed. I know they could not have put the whole book in but There are somethings that should have been there even if it made a longer movie.
Kate Calgary Alberta

what a spectacular film. even thought parts from the book were missed out Alfonso has done a great job in making this film 'dark'. Harrys emotions are running high in this sequal as he deems sirius responsible for his parents deaths. The new Dumledore fitted the role to perfection.and as for the supporting cast they were also tremendous
nimm,uk

one of the most intriguing films i have seen. definetly the best yet, even though some vital parts of the book were not included
nim

I loved the movie. The director did a good job. The Knight Bus was brilliant. Ron was totally funny! The only thing I didn;t like was he changed so many parts from the book or didn't add enough info from the book. It was still smashing! I should know I saw it 10 times!
Alyysa from New York

i thought it was awsome i loved the scene where hermione got pulled up by the whompping willo tree then she pulls harry all of a suden it was funny.
lesley otawa ontario

I liked the movie. But he should have put more things from the book. I hope the next director does a better job. The actors where great though.
Aracelis from Queens

I didn't really like the movie at all. I LOVED the book so I expect that my expectations were very high and I was truely disappointed. I didn't like how Alfonso switched scenes. There was so connection between the scenes and I got confused even though I have read that book at least 4 times. I also HATED the ending. I personally would have loved to see them get on the train and see Ron get Pigwedgeon. I've only seen it once but my opinion may change once I see it again. The acting was good though. And I loved the hint of Ron/Hermione. I look forward to seeing it again and for the 4th movie. I think that Chris Columbus should some back although. He did a terrific job on the first two movies and I think he would have added much more magic and school feel to this movie. I also felt that they took too much of the movie turning back in time and because of that they cut ALOT of good parts out that were in the book. But like I said I need to see it again to confirm my final opinion. :]
Lindsay, Maryland [USA]

I think POA was really great, however a few things disappointed me. If they would've shortened the scene when Harry first rides on Buckbeak, or not used a few pointless scenes like the animal impressions, they could've had time to explain the makers of the Marauder's Map to those who haven't read the book. There were quite a few mistakes, something I never noticed with Chris Colombus, but overall, I think Alfonso did a lot better job of living up to the books. It was, as everyone keeps saying, much darker, which I think is a good thing, as the book is too, however, it was a lot funnier as well, which I think is great as well. The only things that really made me angry / confused me, were the fact that the Whomping Willow seemed to have changed place since the second film, the three animagi and the reason that the Whomping Willow was planted in the first place were not explained as in the books, and why, when hogwarts students are not allowed to deliberately use magic outside of school, did Harry repeatedly use the spell "Lumos" in his bedroom at Privet Drive? I think, comparing the film to the book, it was about 95% there.
Katelyn, St. Louis, U.S.

Hiya evry1! i think the movie woz great! Alfonso iz a really good director! itz the best movie yet! Rupert Grint woz really funny and hes soooo fit! i havent got a fave part i luved it all! luv Jodi x x x
Jodi Hull

I thought the third movie was great, a whole lot better than the others. It stuck to the story more, and the effects were better. It was kind of weird with the medieval music, but apart from that, I loved it! I think I must have some seer blood in me, because I stayed right until the end of the crdits, because at the beginning of them he said, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" and I just knew that he would say, "Mischeif managed" and he did!
Erica, England

The second and the first 1 was good bu no way better than the 3rd 1. I think the 4th 1 will b even better than the rest and the 5th 1 will b out of this world I rekon any1 agree with me!!!! luv hannah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hannah i'm from hull.

In my country we could see this film only-4th of June. But it was the best and great film I have ever seen. The music was exellent, players plaed very-very good... Of course I'm not Harry's fan but I am sure, that my words-true.
Alice, Russia

The movie was great,Alfonso did a good job givin to the movie a darker side but ironic and I appreciated also the scenes that aren't in the book, but I wish they had put also the essential parts,no explanations about the Marauder's map and about Moony Prongs Wormtail and Padfoot(I was surprised why Harry didn't ask Lupin how the hell we knew that parchment was a map) and Harry's Patronus why it becomes a stag and the connection with his father, I had to explain those things to some of my friends that are not in HP cause they had difficult in understanding what was going on.I appreciated the special effects, the music and the acting was great.
Veronica, Italy

Azkaban was 'nice' but too short.Too much was left out, misplaced, or mutilated. Why was Harry risking being caught using Magic (his wand) instead of a flashlight, & what happpened to his essay? We lost 2 weeks of Diagon Alley. No birthday cards or gifts. FLYING dementors? They GLIDE. Why were they chasing HARRY? They were supposed to be looking for Sirius. No attack on Ron in the dorm? Nevile didn't loose the password list? No inept Knight taking the Fat Lady's place? And no lime green Bowler for Fudge? Sigh... at least they got Buckbeak right. JJ
Joanna from Ohio

I absolutely loved it!! Cuaron did such an awesome job!! Granted he left out some details but that's to be expected. Dan, Rupert and Emma get better with each film and they were outstanding in this one..and so grown-up!! I can't wait to see it again!! :D
Hannah, NZ

The movie was great! But there was something wrong with it. There are loads of scenes in the book that was changed. Especially the one when Harry got his Firebolt. He was supposed to use it in the Quidditch game. And in the book, he still dont know that it was Sirius who gave him that. And that's where that thrilling/scary thingy comes. And also in the Quidditch game, in the book, Cedric Diggory didnt fall. It was Harry who fell. But oh well, it was great!!!
Shantal: Philippines

As a standalone movie great as part of a series terrible Why does Dumbledore have dirty robes and hands ? Why is Tom of the Leaky Cauldron suddenly a Hunchback? Why is Harry's scar in the wrong place in one scene mid way through the movie? Why does Ron agree with Snape that Hermoine is a know it all? Why does learning the Patronis charm seem so easy for Harry? Why does Sirius snarl at Harry in the park? So much left out that is important in the following books Loved Buckbeak Very Very disappointed
Linda Australia

I liked it but it was extremely different from the book and some things were out of order. But Alfonso Cuaron did a fairly good job.
Ariel, Idaho, USA

wow... great movie... way too much stuff that wasn't in the book which is greatly dissapointing to true hp fans. But creative liscence is observed, unfortunatly choking a great story.
Lee Anne USA, MA

Where is chris rankin ?! did i miss it ??

I loved the 3rd movie, I think Alfonso did the right thing in cutting out things not direct to the plot. It is my favorite movie so far and just the thought of Gof coming out makes me want to scream! P.S. Daniel looks -way- better in this one. They finally got his hair right!
Olyvia: USA

I Loved that movie! It is the best one yet!
Dakota , USA

I thought the movie was great, its not what i expected, but it was funny. I just wish they included more from the book. Like the part when malfoy and some of his friends pretend to be dementors or the part when malfoy see's harrys head. But overall it was good, and i loved dan's hair!!
Stephanie, Michigan

I love Harry Potter, but I was disappointed with the movie. Everything felt rushed, and if I hadn't of read the books, I would have been lost. They left out major elements of the plot and changed the image. I have to say I am a little worried on what they will leave out in the 4th movie--I would rather have it follow the book and be long then have it short and not well structured.
Kristen DC

i thought the movie was bloody brilliant. the only bad thing i must say about it is this: not enough quidditch, the new dumbledore needs to be more dumbledore-ish, put in more details otherwise no one who hasn't read the books is going to have a clue what's going on, and harry's patronus didn't even take shape at the end and that was a big part of him connecting with his father. other than these few things, i found it rather enjoyable.
Hope, USA

lost the plot cos i was lookin to much at hermione!
mark hampshire

I'm sorry to say that HP3 was 2.5hrs of my life that I want back. The film missed out so many important parts from the story that it was barely recognisable as the Prisoner of Azkaban. The portrayal of Lupin was totally wrong, the script had so many unnecessary dialogue changes. I could go on, but I won't. Overall, it was a fantastic ruin of a fantastic book
Tim, Warwickshire

I thought this film was so much more for teens my age than kids. Alfonso really did take it to the next level, I suppose you could say.

i think the film was very good and i enjoyed it a lot. fandabadooby.

THE FILM WAS BRILLIANT BUT THERE SEEMED TO BE A LOT MISSING OUT OF THE FILM THAT WAS IN THE BOOK,DID THE DIRECTOR READ THE BOOK OR DID HE TAKE BITS OUT OF THE BOOK,I FOR ONE WILL BE BUYING THE DVD WHEN IT COMES OUT,WILL THERE BE ANY DELETED SCENES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FILM,!!!!!!!!!

I thought the third harry potter film was ace it was so emotional harry's angry next minuite hermione's crying.every one in the films aged so much like nevile (he is the same one from the other films isn't he, and is malfoy.)Daniel radcliffe is so talented I wish I was as talented as he is.I wish I could stare in a film ,and meet him and emma and rupet.Lets forget about my fantafies.when I watched the film some things confused me, like why when harry did the exspecto petronom (sorry for the spelling)spell the first time he was on a steer (at least thats what I think it was.)I cant wait to see the next film and see daniel in action again.I think I am his biggest fan. I know that J.K.ROWLING is only making 2 more books I cant belive that will be it with the films.(If you ever see any off the crew from the film can you reed this to them.)I think the best film was the second film.I thought the film was great but I bet the fourth will be the best. Good luck with the next film warner brothers sarah smith p.s. daniel rocks

i have to say about the prisoner of azkaban is that it is a really great film it is the best one so far out of all the harry potter ones. it looks better aswell because they are alot older and that one is alot spooker.i didnt like the chamber of secrets that much because i dont like spiders and thats wot it has in it.i like the prisoner of azkaban so much.

I saw the film while I was on holiday in Somerset and I thought it was certainly the best out of the three. Daniel, Rupert and Emma have all matured and with it their acting skills have improved immensely. I really did enjoy the film and the special effects were great too. It's just such a long wait until the next film comes out!!!!!

Alana, Melbourne

Great film. Obviously they couldn't fit everything in due to the time it would take and on the whole I think Cuaron did an excellent job - much better atmosphere than the other two... I do have two complaints though - one is that the whole Moony, Padfoot, Prongs etc thing was never explained to Harry (it wouldn't have taken long and would have made the Patronus more special!) and the other is that Crookshanks never got to save the day. Harry Potter & The Prisoner Of Azkaban is definitely a great film!!! =) It seems really cool this time round...& it feels more eerie & scary...Its really fantastic & awesome... However...many parts seem to be missing...& hope that there will be more Quidditch scenes in the next movie... I was P@#$!! The movie was missing so many things and it wasnt inthe right order, ther were so many details left out.and i cant see mike gambon or whatever as dumbledore.the part with the firebolt pd me off HE GOT IT FOR XMAS!! there wasnt enough quidditch. and the patranous charm didnt take shape.

The film was beautifully shot, beautifully directed. Most characters were very faithfully portrayed, and that in my book always earns kudos. Harry's character truly came into his own in this movie, Sirius Black is played very well, Dumbledore and Snape are depicted perfectly. But there were far too many flaws that overshadowed the good stuff. ---- SPOILER WARNING ---- There are too many plot holes, for one. How and why did Sirius Black escape only *now*? How did he know to come to Hogwarts looking for Pettigrew? How did people think Black was the betrayer, and how did they later believe it was really Pettigrew if anyone at all could have told Voldemort? (i.e. the whole Secret Keeper thing is missing!) Some characters are truly mutilated. I'm a big fan of Sirius/Remus pairings, but why did they have to make Lupin effeminate? What Steve Kloves has done with Ron Weasley is also unforgivable - since when was Ron simply Mr Hermione Granger? I also have a problem with SuperHermione, who manages to be the star of the trio by mostly stealing Ron's lines. They didn't need to do that! I think the underlying problem is the movie's pace. Like everything else, pace can be overrated and overdone. By taking too little time for exposition, Cuaron and Kloves shortchange their viewers.

Disappointed - didn't end like the book.

I saw it last night, and I want to see it again today. This coming from a late 20's mother of 2! lol. Wonderful movie, best one so far. Keep up the good work. Lupin and Sirius Black were amazing. Buckbeak was so fantastic, and let's not forget Rupert, Emma, and Dan of course. Brilliant all around.
Michelle, U.S.A.

I do like the first part, but the ending wasn't what I was excepting. Also there was a lot of stuff missing too. I must admitted they need to do better than that. But I'll congratulate your hardship. I do hope for another great movie. Peace ;)

The special effects were pretty cool and amazing! Everything has changed: the trio are now teenagers, new looks for Malfoy(not to mention the funniest person in the film), Dumbledore(new actor) and the other casts. Also they had reimaged Hogwarts, Hagrid's Hut is now downhill, the portraits is much more animated than before. Probably I won't have any doubt if this would be the best film of the year so far.

I LOVED that movie!!!! it was the best one so far!! im going to see it again when i can!!!! p.s. I LOVED THAT MOVIE A TON!!!!!!!!!!! lol

the movie was great..i thought this movie was better then the other two but it could have had more.

I love Harry Potter, but I was really disappointed with the new one. It seemed so incredibly rushed and poorly thrown together. Cuaron did a great job with cinematography thought. Emma's performances were a bit silly, and I didn't think Dan was too effective (with the crying at least) but overall it was pretty good.
Katie Beth

I loved the movie but I was soooooo P.O.ed with all the things they left out! Itwas ridiculous! The special effects were amazing and the acting has gotten a lot better. (besides Michael Gamdon... he will never be Dumbledore in my mind). The movie flowed a lot more smoothly than the first 2. I was just flabbergasted!
Allison, Ohio

It was so great! Everyone looked so grown up and they were all so hot. I wish it could have gone on forever. It was obvious in this one that Hermione and Ron have a thing for each other. What about Harry..? I can't wait for the next one! (Book and movie, that is).
iloveharry, ok

I thought the special effects were stunning and the actors were amazing. By far the best movie out of the trilogy so far. Perhaps the best movie this year?
Lora, Belfast

I think the new Harry Potter movie is simply brilliant and all the cast must have had fun making it. The movie is an enjoyable movie for all ages and all i can say is it is a movie that you should just watch it over and over again!

I may be a big kid but I thoroughly enjoyed the film - the sets and the special effects are fantastic, and Emma Thompson makes a brilliant though short appearance as the mystic!!
