There’s a distinctly Spanish theme to the second half of this concert, as we play music by some of Spain’s most talented composers. Malcolm Arnold’s Guitar Concerto, however, takes the instrument beyond its Latin roots, and adds a new twist to the usual soundworld of the guitar. It’s performed by young guitarist Sean Shibe, one of Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 3’s New Generation Artists.
