With a very tight titel fight going down to the wire at Abu Dhabi with three maybe four contenders Red Bull, McLaren and ferrai bringing constant upgrades to their cars and not focusing on next years car do you think that Mercedes maybe even Renault will have the advantage for next year because of this?

Great constructors championship win from red bull which was thoroughly deserved after having the fastest car throughout the year. However, the race today was spoilt for me today after the safety car when the leaders were interspersed with the slower cars. Surely if the slower cars had been let through like I have seen in previous seasons then the top four in the championship would have been together and the final 10-15 laps could have been really exciting. Why were the slower cars not let through as I have seen in the past as this petered from what could have been a great finale to the race?

The rules used to be that lapped cars could pass the safety car and unlap themselves, this would allow the train of cars to rearrange themselves into the correct order of race position. Today in Brazil that didn't happen and on the restart the heavy traffic held up Webber, Alonso, Hamilton and Button. What were the reasons for the change in the safety car rule? Given that the heavy traffic prevented the top 5 from effectively racing each other upon the restart, was it a good rule change?

With Alonso only losing 3 points to Mark Webber this race, it can be seen as a job well done for him, considering the pace the RBR cars showed all weekend.
However, had Webber won the race, the 3 point advantage becomes a 10 point advantage, making finishing ahead of Alonso all that was needed in Abu Dhabi. My Question to you Murray: Should Red Bull have implemented some "team orders" to give Webber the win?

I think the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's coverage of Formula 1 just gets better and better. Formula 1 is in safe hands with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ. I love the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ1 coverage and the extended F1 Forum on the red button - it really gets the viewer close to the action. Eddie's questioning is bold and to the point, excellent. Looking forward to the last race of the season. Come on Vettel!

Do you think someones head at Maclaren should roll, Whitmarsh should go, he's not delivering. The car has not been up to speed for two seasons now. & that's dispite the F-duct. On the other hand I'm not sure Lewis is that good at setting up his car for himself. and Lewis has been out of sorts all season, he hasn't had that many good races this year. So someones head must go at Maclaren.

Please could you tell me how you feel when Hamilton comes out with such comments as he is a hardcore driver and calls Alonso weak? I understand its british media and there will always be a halo over any british driver. But Lewis just goes to far.

why dose f1 not spilt the race day into two races with the seconed race either reversed grid or the places they finshed in the first race.Two races for the price of one day

I believe that Red Bull first-ever constructor's crown is already a big achievement. I hope this will happen again next year.

Is search of an answer as to how Rosberg achieved sixth place. Were both the Mercedes at the back of the safety car train? This would explain how Rosberg managed to pit a second time behind the safety car and then pass Schumacher so quickly after the safety car came in.

This is my first question I have ever submitted to you on this forum. I was just wondering what are your views on the stories that have appeared recently that Lotus Cars may but up the Renault team? If they are true, and Renault become Lotus, do you believe that it is right that they should get the Team Lotus racing history that was given to the current Lotus Racing outfit? Especially considering that the current team bought the name rights from the person who actually owned the naming rights.

Hope you answer this as I think its a different aspect to F1s politics this season that is quite fresh.

Do you think that the current trend of unshaven ungroomed F1 drivers adorning our TV screen should be stopped by team owners/managers after all they do represent the image of the team that employ's them. They do seem to be a bad advert for Formula 1. Your thoughts on this matter please.

I want Alonso to win tidal, I am very impressed with him after worrying Hamilton to go wide in Brazil. My question is a bit of a complaint. After each race I want to see clearly written on the web site 'the fastest lap time' of the race. For us enthusiasts it is very interesting and important, as this information gives a clue to their potential speed going into the next race. Why is it that the f1 site puts a low priority for this information. I am looking all over the place to get this result. My Question: With Red Bull winning the Constructors World Championship in just 6 years of the sport, could you see any of the new teams winning the Constructors World Championship in 2015?

did some calculations here.. If Vettel finishes 1st , Webber 2nd and Alonso 4th, they all have the same number of points.. so it goes down to 1st place wins... Webber will be out as he only has 4 and Vettel and Alonso will have 5..
Bear with me.. it gets better.

Both Vettel and Alonso will then have the same number of 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishes... so does it go to 5th places?? who knows.. if it goes to pole positions and fastest laps.. We have Vettel as the winner.. I am really hoping this is the case!!!

One question puzzles me in terms of integrity of the sport.

We had Lewis's Lie Gate scenario, if I recall a move happened on the field which was legal on the face of it ie Hamilton lost a place due to an apparent illegal overtake by Trulli, which Trulli actually lost by coming off.

He didn't need to give it back. But at an interview they lied about it ie Hamilton had let him pass which he didn't need to and they said Trulli took the place. Charlie asked him did you let him pass and Lewis denied it.

They hadn't actually broken a rule but lied. Hamilton was disqualified and McLaren slapped with a suspended ban.

We then have a situation whereby Alonso is given a place by Massa, we all heard the code and understood it, the body language on the podium showed that Massa was forced to give a place away.

This was a breach of the law, Alonso at the presss conference gave some version of Massa having difficulty (therefore lying), which was contradictory to the telemetry.

Yes Ferrari were penalised (a pittance, compare that to McLarens spiegate, that's too old to discuss) Yet Alonso left unscathed, if he wins the world championship as a result of that he has benefited from a breach of the rules by the team, and got away with lying. Surely that cannot be right and seems too much of double standards by the FIA.

He did not win the race by his talent, maybe that is why Massa is not doing too well, why play for a team that obviously does not support him, the drive has been taken out of him.

This season Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren have been spending much more time on this years car to win the drivers and constructors championship while Mercedes has already been seen in a practice session with its 2011 diffuser. Will we see next season teams like Mercedes and Renault catching up or overtaking the current top 3 because they have had to spend more time on this years car?

How do the drivers deal with jet lag. The time difference between Brazil and Abu Dhabi is 6 hours. Whenever I do a long haul flight it takes me a few days to recover.

The logistics of getting the entire F1 circus to Abu Dhabi by Thursday is just mind blowing

Jenson Button has made clear that he doesn't care who wins the championship. What does this say for his skills as a team player and how he really feels about McLaren?

Before the start of the 2010 season, Lewis Hamilton was interviewed by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ F1 team and said if he couldn't win the championship, he'd want Jenson to.

When Jenson was asked the same question, his response was along the lines of, "If it isn't me, I don't care."

Id rule out Alonso because of his bad reputation in the press over here. At the start of the season I would have said Mark Webber, but Ive started to doubt that he has been handling all of the squabbles inside his team well, sometimes coming off as petty and not a team player when it seems he is being treated fairly. Vettel seems great but does he deserve it after having made stupid mistakes? (Im thinking of him taking out Button, Im probably very biased since Im a massive Button fan).

Which teams do you think are the ones to watch next year?

Do you think that bringing back KERS will be a massive advantage for McLaren who had the best system by far last season?

Since Mercedes stopped development on their current car early, just as Honda did the season before they were Brawn...do you think they will be able to make a car with anywhere near the same advantage as the Brawn cars had?

As a follower of Formula 1 not obsessively by the way but as an interested fan I have wondered at the logistics of such a world phenomenon.
With two of our most fascinating, enigmatic and successful sportsmen in the competition probably a situation and opportunity never to be repeated I want to know about the background to the sport.
There is glamour and dynamic energy to Formula 1 which I know many thousands of people find fascinating with all the rivalry and drama and of course the sheer contempt for expense, he contemporary images and groundbreaking technology and design.

To witness the conflict and friendships the strategies and awe inspiring dedication of the drivers, teams and mechanics and the people who make it possible to move this show across the globe would prove to be compulsive viewing.
The whole script is there. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has the quality professionals creative, knowledgeable and ardent .You would produce a fabulous work capturing a truly unique unequivocal time in the history of the sport.
I can’t wait to see it!
