Kiran Bhandari, Dipak Bhattarai and James Deane

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Media Action, Kiran Bhandari is Senior Producer of Sajha Sawal (Common Questions), a weekly debate programme broadcast across Nepal on radio and TV. Kiran has 17 years of experience in the Nepali journalism space, including major daily newspapers, weekly magazines and online platforms. He has co-authored two books on Nepali bureaucracy and has a master’s degree in business administration. Dipak Bhattarai is currently Editor of Sajha Sawal (Common Questions), a weekly debate programme broadcast across Nepal on radio and TV, having worked on the programme for the past seven years. Dipak started his journalism career as a newspaper reporter in the late 1990s, later getting into television and online journalism. James Deane joined Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Media Action in 2007 and is managerially responsible for its research and technical advisory departments working to help support the organisation so its work is as good as it can be – evidence-based, rigorous and impactful. He previously spent 20 years at Panos which was dedicated to developing country driven journalism and public debate on development issues, helping set it up and eventually becoming its Executive Director.
