Aeris grew up on a diet of The Drifters, Roy Orbison and northern soul and he taught himself to play guitar, yet his songs fuse soul and R&B with smooth vocals and the odd smattering of rap.
'Don't Ask' is an acoustic soul jam, and is Aeris' latest release since his debut mixtape ‘Moon By Island Gardens’, which featured ‘Delilah’ that was Introducing track of the week on 1Xtra last year. This artist has been travelling at 100 mph - having supported Billie Eilish and Grace Carter - and we're fully on board with his journey.
