Hey bloggers

Continuing Chris' slow take-over of all Channel 4 programmes Chis' appearance on this week's Friday Night Project meant that wonderfully camp Alan Carr and funny pirate Justin Lee Collins came in this morning to work behind the scenes.

Not people known for blending into the background, sure enough it wasn't long before they took over. The last straw was Justin challenging Carrie over her sport bulletin and Alan upgrading his tea making and breakfast fetching duties to getting his own imaginary chopper and conducting a fake traffic report item! It was clear things weren't going to work and Chris and I fired them and sent them back to Channel 4 studios.

Their brief ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ career divided our audience this morning. I'd be very keen to know actually, did you enjoy their visit or not? Go to Listen Again, choose Monday's show and let me know what you think!!

Finally, get well soon Rach! I studio produced the show this morning, and could potentially sit in the hotseat for most of the week as Rach isn't very well. So, Rach, get well soon, we need you!

Tomorrow morning, Katie Price is in and we have a phoner with Gordon Ramsay ahead of Chris' other Channel 4 appearance this week on his F Word show! Should be another interesting show then... β€œYou're Live on Radio 1 do not say **** or *!”

Temporary Studio Producer Aled xx

Get well Rachel.. all is lost without you! - but then you did miss my best pal the JLC on Monday's show.. didn't he do weill with Alan!? Justin did his own Saturday show on XFM a few years ago, so he was well used to being on radio.. but Justin didn't ask Chris about presenting on GWR in Bristol back in the day when Chris lived n worked in Bristol... heck, now it's my time to be a guest on your show! (I could even talk more about the JLC!) ;) as I am riding high on iTunes, as the presenter / producer behind the world's best independent music podcast documentary series on the iTunes Store, called 'Straight Outa Bristol' and yes, even the JLC has been on it talking about Bristol's music scene.. and he will be back on it again. come and listen 4 urself at www.straightoutabristol.co.uk you all rock on Radio 1, well done the team! :)

Brilliant Show, both the Radio show and the Friday Night Project show were great!
Best line ever: "I got touched up on a night bus..."
LOL, it would be great to have them on the show every once in a while.
Great show, good work Aled!

That show was the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. I mean the show is always hilarious but it was just pure madness when those two were in. Loved it! :-D

Got to agree with some of the other comments, this was probably one of the funniest breakfast shows in the history of man..ever!

Was rolling around with laughter, it was great.

Think the interaction between the team and AC/JLC was hilarious.

Good Job!

Also, today's hayfever moments were also quite hilarious.

First of all, get well soon Rachel. Not that I don't love Aled as producer, it's just no-one likes being ill. :)

I only heard Justin and Alan from 7.45 onwards (I shall have to listen again), but I thought they were hilarious! From the moment I heard them, I was in stitches, which is brilliant for me and my family as they cleared my early morning blues right up! I love Justin and Alan, and the rest of the team, so I'm looking forward to this week's Friday Night Project immensely. Same with The F Word, it's going to be amazing!

Gordon Ramsey and Katie Price (haha, that could be Gordon and Jordan!) will be brill too.

Kelly x

PS: I hope you got you million downloads in May, I did my bit!

Loved loved loved the alan and justin thing, they seemed relaxed as they werent guests so thats good, perhaps they should be temporary guest hosts instead of an interview as that creates less tension etc in my opinion

anyway, very good and I'd like to hear a bit more of alan and justin :p
