Late on a Friday, honestly you know I probably always will be, today...
...I was once again amongst thousands of boxes in my new house, Enzo was giving me a helping paw and then all of a sudden it was two o'clock and time to board the bus for London and the ALL REQUEST FRIDAY THING.
The cakes have been bought, the team are loosened up and the first chune has been chosen, loaded and is ready to roll. We're just waiting for Mr. Wright to finish and then we'll be good to go,

McCrumble here, not in jail, obviously. It's a long story, so I'm doing it in bits and pieces on the blog.
My sprits were indeed lifted when I heard the good news about the cricket. To beat the Aussies once is lucky, to beat them twice smacks of competence!

I still have unopened boxes from when I moved into my house on New Years Eve! Not too many though, as I had a HUGE clear out before I moved.
Lovely fat flakes of snow falling here this afternoon - settling too. Don't have to go anywhere this weekend - just stay in the warm and watch rugby - oh and a snowball fight or two with the kids!

Well, wouldn't you know it. Friday has once again emerged from the shadows of Thursday to herald in another weekend. After a bally good week, albeit crammed with far too much professional pursuit, I can but wish you all the finest of weekends and most hearty and felicitous salutations.
As for me, I intend to eat, enjoy a pre, during and post prandial libation or two and embrace all that is good in the same audacious manner in which I try to reject that which is bad.

I walked into B&Q at lunchtime and some old guy dressed in orange asked me if I wanted decking. Fortunately, I got the first punch in and that was the end of that.

Still not finished unpacking then? Me neither, and I'm moving again soon! I suppose you could say if I haven't missed it for two years then I don't need it! Maybe so, but the real reason is I haven't had the space to unpack the less essential stuff and I'm looking forward to spreading out again! It'll be like Christmas all over again, can't wait!

Off to Bruges Sunday on a Belgian Chocolate dash (any requests?) for my Birthday, (even Nutritional Therapists eat chocolate sometimes....the good stuff anyway) hope the North Sea is kind; my friend Anne isn't good on the roly poly stuff!
Got my son with me this weekend for the first time in ages, looking forward to some time together which doesn't involve me nagging at him to 'do homework' or 'get dressed' or 'go to bed' all the time!
Missed the show tonight, will have to catch up in the morning. I've got into the habit of listening whilst prepping tea but we went out to celebrate half term tonight.
Hope you have a fab weekend Chris and all bloggers too. Good fun this, it's like having a 'virtual' friend! (Not that I haven't got any real ones you understand!)

I was sick as a pig yesterday reading about all your snowy exploits. (strange expression, who really knows how a sick pig really feels!)
Well here in deepest Devon we saw hail showers and rain yesterday not a flake insite. I think the last time we had any decent snow was about 15 years ago.
Well on the plus side I just heard that Devon is in the top 10 places to visit in the WORLD!!
I find this slightly incredible as have travelled a bit myself and can think of one or two places where I'd rather be myself.
Anyway I'm happy to share because god knows our economy needs all the lovely tourists, shame the government don't twig this and do somnething about out b....y roads!

It is 04:05 and the night shift is moving along very slowly, so far it has been a quiet night. Thank goodness for listen again. Your replay is just what you need at this time, it keeps me awake and cheery during the wobbly bit of the shift when all you want to do is sleep and feel grumpy.
Why can't men multi-task? It has taken me 20 minutes to write a few works because of laughing at the show at the same time, I have changed the time 7 times!!!

I have always been a fan of Chris' and I get annoyed when people patronise him by saying that they are glad he isn't like he used to be and they are glad he has 'changed' etc. ( I know that's not what you were saying, by the way. I know your comment was complimentary) They express gratification that he acts differently to how he did in the ol' days.
Who do these people think they are?! - haven't we all done things that other people could sneer at?!
They make comment as if they are his school teacher charting his behavioural progress. Makes me cross : )

Chris, as we say in Steve Wright land, great show, but I am afraid to say I am going to have to take the option which all you chaps say ie if you don't like it use the off-on button. Really entertaining show with one exception the gushing Sally Traffic or should I say Sally Waffle. She's taken over. All right the weather was bad last week but how many times must we be told that roads are closed. As someone who does about 40k miles pa I know that on a Friday afternoon the M25 has ground to a halt and I dont need confirmation of this from Mucky Duck or whoever driving his lorry to let me know this "interesting" information. Take a leaf out of that other twit's -Steve Wright - book, get her on and then get her off. As for her constant sexual innuendos spare us please - its like listening to your mother for heavens sake!
I had a very busy day doing a run from Glasgow to Penzance. Yes bet you guessed I am a trucker. When I am not listening to radio 2 I usually chat on my CB radio.

ps I've got a flat one today. Actually it was last night, so was very late to work as boss didn't get text sent re no battery therefore no transport for yours truly. Anyway, after I phoned him this morning, and he thought I was ringing in sick, he was so relieved I wasn't, he came and fetched me himself! Hoorah! Now have almost done most of this mornings work already, have had toast and still finishing tea, so all guns now blazing.
Just had to say how great it is to listen to somebody who has a love of life that is infectious. Respect.
