This Proms season Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Red Button brings a variety of new ways to watch and listen to this mainstay of the classical music season with a selection of services available alongside the regular broadcasts.

On Saturday 7th August viewers can pressΜύred at the end of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two's showing of Mahler's Symphony No.5, and watchΜύhis Symphony No.4.Μύ Both symphonies were recorded on Thursday 5th August at the Royal Albert Hall.
Player Commentary
This year Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Red Button has introduced Player Com, an interactive feature giving viewers a new perspective on the Proms from theΜύmusicians themselves. By pressing the Red Button during the performance viewers can listen to live commentary from two or more orchestral players and hear their unique insights into the music as the work is played.
On Friday 13th August the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ PhilharmonicΜύare lending us Bob Chasey. He was due to perform Principal Second ViolinΜύfor the night's Prom but, excitingly, instead Bob will commentate live on the performance, just for you - on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Red Button. Gareth Davies, who plays principal flute with the London Symphony Orchestra, will join Bob in a merry exploration of the night's music from the players' perspective.

Mistresses Quiz
The new series of Mistresses will be enhanced by a quiz with a difference.
After the show viewers can press red to be presented withΜύa series of dilemmas that theΜύMistresses face in series three.ΜύKatie's Mother (AKA Joanna Lumley), will ask theΜύviewers how they would react to the situation if they were in the character's shoes.ΜύAt the end of the quiz viewer willΜύthen get to find out how alike the Mistresses they are.
The quiz will be available via the Red Button on 12th August immediately after the second episode of Mistresses.

Dragons' Den*
The Dragons are back for an eighth series and for the first time viewers will be able to presstheir red buttons to venture a little deeper into the Den. Find out why the Dragons chose to invest and discover how the entrepreneurs feel once they've escaped the rigours of their trial by fire. With behind the scenes footage and insights from all five Dragons the access-all-areas Red Button shows are a must for fans of the series.
On the Dragons' Den website Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1's Dominic Byrne will be meeting members of the public who will be putting the products pitched each week through their paces. A new business section offers a glossary of terms that link through to relevant pitches from across the series and we also have latest updates from some of the famous faces that have previously pitched in the Den. Now your children's favourite characters are at the heart of the interactive
TV experience. A big, new and bright carousel now greets visitors providing
easy access to games, other children's interactive services such as karaoke
or quizzes, birthdays and star of the week messages.
Different Games
Reflecting the popularity of games for the young audience, a new range of
activities has been specially created. The updated service brings with it
brand new games for some of the most popular shows on CBeebies, including In the Night Garden and The Green Balloon Club. These new
games replace the old ones, which had become increasingly outdated.
Satellite and digital terrestrial viewers will have slightly different offerings from one another. This has enabled us to offer the best games tailored to each system.

On race day itself a choice of three streams will be available featuring split-screen in-car camera feeds, leaderboards and rolling highlights, with the option to listen to either network or Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live commentary. After the end of each race on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One there will be an additional interactive programme analysing the weekend's events and picking up views from the paddock with race highlights often available the following day.
