The death of former Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ broadcaster Cliff Michelmore was announced earlier today. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ director general Tony Hall paid tribute to the Tonight, Holiday and Election results presenter saying Michelmore was an "outstanding broadcaster whose personal approach recast the role of the TV presenter at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ".
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Parliament will be showing the 1966 General Election Night programme, which Cliff presented, on Easter Monday.
