LUCKY CHARM, DRUGS AND LOTS OF DEW by Sabrina Masud (Bangladesh)

Congratulations to all the regional winners and to our overall winner, Philip Braithwaite from New Zealand. His play, BLOOD, is both a moving and forceful account of one man trying to make sense of a brutal existence that nevertheless offers humour and hope. Blood will be broadcast on 'Play of the Week' in November, followed by a feature programme that goes behind the scenes of the play competition.

We will also be producing KNOCKING by David Eliet, a poignant and suspenseful thriller with an imaginative use of the radio medium.

Thank you again to everyone who entered the competition.
