1977: The Great Escape

On 24 March 1944, 76 men escaped from the German POW camp Stalag Luft III, in what became known as 'The Great Escape'.

Ley Kenyon was a POW at Stalag Luft III, he worked on the escape plan as a forger. In this interview he explains some of the techniques he used, how his drawings from the time ended up back in his possession, and answers the inevitable question; was it anything like the film?
