1965: People react to Churchill's death

"The whole world suffers from a very great loss."

People on the streets of London give their reactions to the death of Sir Winston Churchill, at the age of 90.

News of his death was announced on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ shortly after 0800 GMT. Within 30 minutes, crowds began to gather near his London home to pay homage to Britain's leader during World War Two.
