Jeremy Vine travels to Canada to talk to award-winning writer Margaret Atwood. In this relaxed interview, Atwood discusses the influence of her country of origin on her writing and throws light on the creative process and her working methods. She also talks about her increasing awareness of politics, being famous in Canada and how she deals with criticism of her work by some commentators.

Not only is Margaret Atwood joint honorary president (with her partner Graeme Gibson) of BirdLife International's Rare Bird Club, but also she has a brand of coffee named after her. The Atwood Blend is produced in bird friendly conditions and part of the proceeds from its sale are donated to the Pelee Island Bird Observatory.
