1950: Bristol Brabazon lands in London
Newsreel shows footage of a behemoth of the skies, the Bristol Brabazon, as it touches down in London for the first time.
The Bristol Brabazon was built to fly between Europe and the United States.
However, it was never put into production, as airlines decided it was too big to be commercially viable.
