Yes, you can make an appeal if:
- A moderator removes your comment or upload, but you don’t agree that it broke the rules for commenting and uploading
- You reported a comment or upload for breaking the rules for commenting and uploading, but the moderator disagreed so it wasn’t removed
- Your account has been banned or set to pre-moderation. (You can read more about pre-moderation in "What is moderation?".)
How do I make an appeal?
You can make an appeal using this feedback form.
What happens next?
Once you’ve made an appeal against a moderation decision, we’ll review it and let you know the outcome.
Your appeal is successful
If we find that a mistake has been made we’ll let you know. We’ll also reinstate your comment or upload, depending on the circumstances.
Your appeal is not successful
If we decide that the original moderation decision was correct, we'll get in touch and tell you why.
If you still feel your appeal hasn't been dealt with fairly, you can make a complaint here. But make sure it’s about something of substance, not trivial.
