World through your lens

Send us your photos of Tyneside and Northumberland on a variety of themes and you could see them published online.

We want to see Tyneside and Northumberland through your eyes - to share the hidden places that you love and the little moments of beauty that catch your eye.

We're asking anyone with a digital camera to send in their photos of the region.

We'll be featuring many of them in a series of themed galleries on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Tyne during 2009.

Current themes

We are currently looking for photos with these themes:

  • Off the beaten track
  • Light and shade
  • Heritage

We've kept the themes broad so you can interpret them however you want to - don't just think of the obvious.

The aim is for pictures that grab people's attention.

Simply e-mail your photos to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Tyne at:

Don't forget to include your name in the e-mail and tell us a little bit about the photo too - when and where it was taken and who (or what) is in it is a good place to start.

Please also include the title of the theme in the subject box of your e-mail. If we do use your photo we'll let you know where you can see it online.

Happy snapping!
