A short film which explores how visual affects and computer animation professionals utilise hardware and programming capabilities of computers to create stunning affects in films.
An explanation is also provided of the processes that programmers take in breaking down observations of the real world into the rules of nature, for example, physics and chemistry.
They demonstrate how they use this understanding to programme these rules to develop accurate simulations, as well as paying careful consideration to the balance needed between stylised creativity and nature.
