Ospreys booked their place in the Challenge Cup knockout stage last night with a 25-3 win over Perpignan in Swansea.

Full-back Iestyn Hopkins scored two tries, wing Keelan Giles also crossed while fly-half Dan Edwards kicked 10 points.

Benetton's victory at Newcastle means Ospreys qualified for the last 16.

But Ospreys and Wales will be concerned with a leg injury suffered by hooker Dewi Lake, playing out of position at flanker, which forced him off in the opening five minutes.

Europe was Scarlets' salvation last season and rejuvenated a dismal league start, beating Clermont-Auvergne en route to the semi-finals.

    How times have changed.

They head to the Central Massif knowing a third successive defeat in the pool will all but end their knockout hopes.

Head coach Dwayne Peel is under growing pressure, not least after the home loss to cup newcomers Black Lion.

He'll be hoping the turnaround starts today.
