We are going to wrap-up now and thank you for following along with us on what was a special, special evening in Wrexham.

There are going to be some sore heads tomorrow!

  6. 'This is why we chose Wrexham' - Kerpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 2 May 2023

More from Wrexham executive director Humphrey Ker who says today's scenes have vindicated just why the Hollywood pair took over a club in the fifth tier of English football.

"People often ask Ryan and Rob... why Wrexham?

"We saw here a place with incredible potential, an incredible legacy and if you can activate both of those things you get what you have today which is crowds and crowds of people coming out to celebrate a historic championship in terms of points numbers but also in terms of restoring what we now belong to.

"So yes, we do feel vindicated, very smug, insufferable!"

  10. 'Promotion helped me give up smoking' - Kerpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 2 May 2023

More from Wrexham executive director Humphrey Ker who admitted the town could get used to such celebrations - that have even helped him kick a bad habit. He said:

"This a combination of a lot of work over the last two years and we’re getting used to all sorts of weird and wonderful things at Wrexham.

"But the thing we want to get used to most is this feeling we’re having right now which is success on the pitch and getting promoted and giving everybody in this town something to be excited about and be proud of.

"It's addictive. I gave up one of my bad habits on Saturday night. My advice to anyone trying to give up cigarettes is win a National League title, the adrenaline alone will power you through the next two or three weeks so you won’t need any more stimuli."
