That was a really simple ball that Wales should be defending better, they should not be cut open by that, Laura O'Sullivan committed then stopped, she had to fully commit.

From a Welsh perspective there, it is really poor defending.

Iceland win a corner but Sveindis Jonsdottir makes awful contact with a completely free shot.

Poor defending from Wales just as I praised their defending.

Dagny Brynjarsdottir shoots and Rhiannon Roberts takes the ball in the face making a brave block.

That's why Wales rarely concede.

There's so many aspects Wales can take from this game, however, it always boils back down with Wales to that final third.

Ceri Holland wins a corner and the goalkeeper completely misses the ball, but Gemma Evans just can't turn it in at the back post.

Angharad James has had a few occasions where her first touch has been heavy and put her under pressure, although the same could be said about many others in the Welsh side.

Gwennan rightly points out Wales have dominated in terms of shots, they have had eight, to Iceland's one.

And as I type that, Sveindis Jonsdottir has the second Iceland shot of the game, off target.

Wales had that spell when they had two chances in a row but it has quietened down since then, they will be happy they are creating chances.

They have created more opportunities but have been a bit wasteful.
