    Â鶹ԼÅÄ One

The tie of the round is live on Â鶹ԼÅÄ One and iPlayer on Sunday (17:00 GMT kick-off), with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool looking for a return to winning ways at Old Trafford.

Apart from the 4-1 victory over a youthful Aston Villa side in the third round, the Reds are yet to win in 2021 and have not lifted the FA Cup since 2006.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lifted the trophy twice as a Manchester United player and will be hoping to move a step closer to his first honour as their manager.

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola tells Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sport: "I didn't have regrets even when we were 1-0 down, we had clear chance from the first minute. When they take advantage it gets complicated but we got it to 1-1 and it was tight. We came here with humility and had the quality to make the difference.

"They used their quality in the box, they are taller and better than us there and we showed clips on how to solve it. It is difficult to control that.

"Phil Foden is in a great moment and with great confidence. he is clinical in front of goal and he had a similar chance to the goal we scored at Stamford Bridge and he is playing really well.

"Next one is West Brom, big Sam Allardyce has incredible experience and one step at a time."

When ties like this are drawn it gives these players and the manager to showcase their ability against the big boys. What a performance from Ben Tozer he has had the game of his life, he has defended for his life and saved one off the line.

  4. 'I'm incredibly proud'published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

    Cheltenham 1-3 Man City

Cheltenham Town manager Michael Duff speaking to Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sport: "I don't know if it's tough to take, I'm super proud of the players. I don't know if we deserved [to concede] the third but they are world-class players and scored three in the last 10 minutes.

"I'm incredibly proud. the players they brought on from the bench and they way they celebrated the goals tells you something. They know they've been in a game. They've done that to better teams than us.

"They should have been 1-0 up after about 10 seconds and I thought it could be a long night. The lads grew into the game and gained belief as it went along. We finished the first half strong. [The long throw] is a threat. We knew we had to pick our moments to attack and when you're 1-0 up at 80 minutes you begin to think 'could you?' but unfortunately it wasn't to be."

On the importance of the cup run: "It's essential. there's no money coming in. Every pound coming in is probably worth a tenner in normal times. I'm delighted for the club. Lots of hard work goes on to get these types of games. These games don't come around very often. It's a shame because [with fans] the place would've been bouncing. Would that have seen us through in the last 10 minutes? I'm not so sure - but the key is to enjoy it.

"We're back to it against Oldham on Monday and we have to kick on now. You guys will all disappear, we're halfway through the season and we have to kick on now."

Neil Trainis: Great effort from Cheltenham in their FA Cup tie against Man City - for the first 81 minutes it didn’t look like there was 72 league places between the clubs.

Mr Wright: Thanks from the neutral supporters to Cheltenham for a great game - always knew Man City would edge it after those subs, but as commentators said, you could see from the celebrations from the city players just how worried you had them!

  7. 'Foden is incredible'published at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

    Cheltenham 1-3 Man City

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on Â鶹ԼÅÄ One

I was lucky enough to play in an England team with Paul Gascoigne and Paul Scholes, two of the greatest midfielders in my time. The way he handles the ball, his body position, his ability to pass it into the forwards, he is so comfortable on the ball and he can score goals.

The way he just glides past players, his close control - we don't say 'potential' because we see it week in, week out. He is an incredible player. He is the one that got on the ball and dictated the game in the second half.

  8. Watch: Torres wraps it up for Citypublished at 19:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

Here's the final nail in Cheltenham's coffin - Ilkay Gundogan and Ferran Torres combining to add a bit of a gloss to the scoreline.

Credit to Cheltenham, they really were outstanding. I thought as the game went on they would tire, but Ben Tozer was incredible. One of the best centre back performances I've seen for a long time.

  12. 'I'm trying to stay at top of my game'published at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

    Cheltenham 1-3 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden speaking to Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sport: "I thought we were a bit slow at times in the first half but we're delighted we got the win. The long balls were not working in the first half so we tried to keep it shorter in the second half to break the lines and in the end we got the goal."

On his good form: "There's no better feeling than scoring. I'm just enjoying scoring at the moment because that's what I enjoy most. I'm playing well at the moment but you can easily have a bad performance so I'm just trying to stay at the top of my game and playing like this."

On what he said to Cheltenham's Alfie May at full-time: "He's a great player. I told him he had a great game and his team did well today."

  13. 'Cheltenham had a really good go'published at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

    Cheltenham 1-3 Man City

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 5 Live

It has been a fantastic evening and I've really enjoyed the game. Cheltenham had a really good go and it was a shame they couldn't hold on for a bit longer but Cheltenham can be proud and they put on a really good show.

They looked really well drilled and everyone knew their roles. Their back five was excellent, they cut off all the space for Manchester City to play in the middle of the park. The joy Manchester City got from the game was down the side, putting balls into the box.

These Manchester City players are top notch, world-class players and have got the job done. The real changing point in the game was when Cancelo and Gunodgan came on and they were really calm on the ball.

When you switch off for one second, it's a goal. Cheltenham might've just got away with it in League Two.

Matt: Scoreline doesn't do Cheltenham justice, they were the better side for 80 minutes, just unfortunate in the last 10 minutes. They put more effort in, more determination, and more than gave City a competitive game.

Cheltenham were superb from the first minute. Goalkeeper Josh Griffiths needs a mention, and we knew about their threat from set pieces, to a man they were sensational for the whole game.

Greg: Foden surely must be a regular now he is starting for City and playing sublime passes time and again.

Liz: Garbage for 80 mins. Good for 10. It's not on. The players should look at how they've played here tonight. We robbed Cheltenham.
