Another session completely dominated by Lancashire.

Keaton Jennings reached his double century just before lunch, while Dane Vilas is approaching his own century.

Yorkshire face a long afternoon in the dirt.

  2. 200 runs

for Jenningspublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 409-3

Keaton Jennings flicks Dom Bess fine for four to reach a third double-century of his career.

Superb stuff from the Lancashire opener.

It's taken the left-hander 361 balls with 26 fours. And he's not done yet. Batting looks a dream out there.

  3. Postpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 404-3

    400 up for Lancashire.

Dane Vilas cuts Dom Bess away to the rope and follows it with a sweep for another four.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:50 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Overton b Linde 93 (Kent v Surrey 458-6)

What was I just saying about Kent not being able to buy a wicket?!

Jamie Overton tries to sweep spinner George Linde and is bowled around his legs.

The big man just misses out on a second first-class century.

  5. 6 runs

Postpublished at 12:49 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 458-5

Nightwatchman Jamie Overton moves into the 90s with back-to-back sixes off Darren Stevens.

Kent can't buy a wicket this season.

The usually miserly Stevens has two wickets at 154.50 apiece.

  6. 100 runs

for Tom Abellpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Glos v Som 439-5

A single through cover off Jacob Bethel and Tom Abell has his 10th first-class hundred.

202 balls and 13 fours, ensuring Somerset’s excellent start wasn’t wasted.

  7. 50 runs

for Curranpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 442-5

Sam Curran's enjoying an excellent season with the bat.

The all-rounder brings up his fourth half-century in five innings and it's come rapidly - off 45 balls.

Can he now go on to convert it into a maiden first-class hundred?

22 career fifties and no centuries so far... it's a great opportunity.

  8. 50 and out for Northeastpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Durham 311 v Glamorgan 115-5

    Martin Emmerson
    Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio Newcastle

Sam Northeast played some nice shots as he made his way to 51. But no sooner had he got there than he was out, edging Chris Rushworth to the keeper a couple of overs after he had driven him to the boundary three times.

Northeast boasts two centuries against Durham for Kent. He was batting well today and we'd just commented on the fact on each of the three previous occasions he'd got to 50 this year he'd made it to the 80s. Not this time though.

Earlier David Lloyd fell for nine and Marnus Labuschagne for 17. He looked out of sorts this morning, facing 27 balls for just one run, before falling LBW to Ben Raine in the bowler's second over of the day.

  9. Kent's bowling woespublished at 12:30 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 429-5

I mentioned earlier how Kent had conceded more than 500 in every first innings this season. It makes some staggering reading when you break it down...

    • Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI - 658-9 dec
    • Yorkshire - 571 all out
    • Hampshire - 652-6 dec
    • Lancashire - 506 all out
    • Essex - 514 all out
  10. 400 up for Somersetpublished at 12:30 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Glos v Som 404-5

Tom Abell into the 80s and Somerset’s progress continues.

Lewis Gregory has joined him and got off the mark by lifting Zafar Gohar for six.

Adrian Bolton: Can’t see Somerset in particular reaching 500 - would be remarkable if all four batting teams did though

Yeah, but they've still got Jack Leach to come in!

  12. 50 runs

for Vilaspublished at 12:17 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 361-3

    Well, that came quickly!

Dane Vilas hits Haris Rauf for three fours in four balls and then pulls the Yorkshire paceman for six to bring up his half-century.

19 off an over which also brought up the century partnership between Vilas and Keaton Jennings.

  13. Postpublished at 12:10 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

All four batting sides in Division One are on course to make 500 in their first innings. I can't think of any other time that has happened before.

  14. Postpublished at 12:04 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 400-5

Sam Curran swats spinner George Linde for six and that's the Surrey 400 up and maximum batting bonus points.

Kent are on course to concede 500 runs again, as they have done in every first innings this season.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Davies c †Bracey b Wheal 37 (Glos v Som 361-5)

A full ball and a flat-footed drive from Steven Davies and he nicks off.

First wicket for the on-loan Brad Wheal - one of three in the Glosters’ side this week with so many injuries.

110 overs up and just the one bowling point for Gloucestershire.

  16. 50 runs

for Overtonpublished at 12:02 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 392-5

Surrey nightwatchman Jamie Overton has taken the attack to Kent this morning and goes to his half-century off 51 balls.

It's steady stuff from Yorkshire seamers Steven Patterson and Jordan Thompson, but still no breakthrough in the opening 50 minutes on day two.

    Lancashire in complete control.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:48 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Keogh b McAndrew 27 (Warks v Northants 407-4)

A second wicket of the morning for Nathan McAndrew.

Draws Rob Keogh forward and finds a rather large gap between bat and pad to locate off stump.
