The Town Hall without a doubt. One of the few buildings still standing in the city centre that appears to have had some conscious effort and thought put into its design and detail.

my favourite buildings in sheffield were the tinsley towers but now its the arts tower i hate the new "cheesegrater"

One of the finest is the White Building in Fitzalan Square, which has ten figures in relief by Alfred and William Tory depicting Sheffield trades.
