A very apt description for the picturesque villages which light up the beautiful coastline of the Neuk of Fife. A very pleasant walk along the famous Fife Coastal Path.

More info: The walk is along the Fife Coastal Path, some sections involve unmade paths and there are steps at Pittenweem. There's a car park at the Auld Kirk - the path leads out of the graveyard of the Kirk to the castle.

A bus service operates between Anstruther and St Monans. .
