James Sandford

James Sandford is a Research Technologist in Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ R&D. He is currently working in the Automated Production & Media Management team on protocols for describing the composition of media in post-production, live, and hybrid IP production environments.

Previously, James has explored potential subtitle and audio workflows in IP production environments, developed a low power network storage device for archives, researched the use of high frame rate cameras for improving the visibility of fast moving objects in sports, and carried out user research into the impact of subtitle display rates on enjoyment.
