Ethiopian child prostitutes |

In Ethiopia, poverty exacerbated by drought has led to an alarming increase in child prostitution. Research by Save the Children Denmark in the country's capital, Addis Ababa, shows that thousands of young girls under the age of 18 have been driven to prostitution just to survive.
On the whole there are very few places these young girls can turn to for help but one organisation, CHADET, or Child Aid Ethiopia, has responded by opening drop-in centres for child prostitutes.
As Damien Zane reports, the group is also having some success in tackling the problem by publically raising the issue day - and night.
