Ìý International Approaches to Domestic Violence 02 December 2003 Ìý
International Approaches to Domestic Violence In the Queen's Speech last week, the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Secretary promised the biggest overhaul of laws on domestic violence since the 1970s.

We'll be finding out exactly what the new legislation will entail, and on the day that the conference looking at international approaches to preventing domestic violence takes place, Woman's Hour will be discussing what exactly we can learn from countries such as Zimbabwe and Austria.

Jenni will be joined by Shelia Mahare, Director of the Musasa Project in Harare, Zimbabwe and Professor Liz Kelly of the Child & Women Abuse Studies Unit, London Metropolitan University.
